I used the u-pack system, and my review references that experience. The good: customer service is generally responsive and polite. Pick-up and drop-off of the containers was easy to coordinate. And the price was right. The bad: the containers leak. They are advertised as weatherproof, but they are not, and the ABF agreement only agrees to reimburse at a rate of $0.10 per pound of damaged material. I was compensated less than $20 for $1000 in damages due to containers which did not perform as advertised.

I used UPack to move cross-country, from northern Virginia to western Washington. It was an excellent experience; all the drivers showed up on schedule, and were very friendly and helpful. The equipment was in great condition, and the people I spoke with on the phone to coordinate with were great. I also ended up saving $700 from my originally quoted price because I needed much less space than I thought. Great company to do business with.

I moved across the country and did a lot of research to find the right moving company. U-Pack has by far the best price and customer service. When you call, you immediately get a person on the line, not an automated voice system. From the woman who reserved my cube to the man who dropped my cube off to the woman who coordinated the drop off of my cube, U-Packs customer service is top notch. HIGHLY recommend and will use again.

It was a great move. I thought there would be a problem with placement of the POD but it was not. They placed the POD on the street with no problems. They were able to place the POD on the driveway of my new home with no problems. There were no other people stuff on the POD and no items were broken. Just one thing when they leave the POD it is not locked so, buy a lock. It is still a great choice.

U pack was easy and on time in every aspect. Delivered the trailer a few weeks before my move allowing time to pack it properly, then stored my things at a minimal cost until I was ready for them to deliver. The final delivery was right on time. Dealing with U Pack was the smoothest part of the move.

Our cross country move (and the rental of a full size truck as temporary storage) went very smoothly. Every one was very helpful and knowledgeable. The drivers in particular were very skilled as we are at the end of the narrow dead end and they made maneuvering such a large truck look easy.

I would have given them 5 stars but not all terminals are like this one. This one is clean, friendly, and safe. The terminal we sent to in Tacoma, WA was dirty, hazardous and rude. I dont know if most terminals are like this one in Va or the one in Wa.
