First and foremost, I am not one to write negative reviews, but for this company, I feel that my experience needs to be shared with all future, potential clients. You make your own decision. We moved for the last time in June (this was not our first time either). Few Moves came highly recommended to us from a close, local, friend who had use this company more than once. She raved about Few Moves, so of course we had no doubt that we would be taken care of well and didnt hesitate to make arrangements. Sadly, the move DID NOT go well for us, and as you can see, I have attached a couple photos of the damage. Few Moves offers two types of Protection Plans, BASIC VALUE which is free of charge and value of property is 0.60/lb/article and FULL VALUE which is valued at $4.00 times actual wt in lbs of shipment, costs of this coverage is unknown to us since we chose the BASIC VALUE. Few Moves came so highly recommended that we didnt think it was necessary to pay for FULL VALUE PROTECTION. In hindsight, I wish we had. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, most of which had been moved at least four times without a scratch in the past, until now. Obviously we were very upset and contacted Few Moves regarding the issue. I spoke to Matt and made arrangements for him to come out and assess the damage himself. He tells us because of the BASIC VALUE PROTECTION PLAN we signed, there was nothing else he could do and the coverage was according to North Carolina Utilities Commission. In addition to this, it was brought to our attention the the moving "team" did not move us according to policy and procedure. With that acknowledgement, I felt that Few Moves should go above and beyond to assist us with the damages, especially since their own employees did not follow protocol. It became a he said/she said kind of thing, and in the end, nothing came of it except, "our hands are tied, theres nothing else we can do". We were infuriated. Our personal possessions were damaged and there was no accountability from Few Moves. I didnt feel that this was handled well and as a business, you should stand by your "product". I wouldnt deal with a business that cant admit fault and offer additional assistance to satisfy customers. Be wary of your choice for Protection with this company.

Let me start by saying that, honestly the crew was awesome. They were quick, efficient, and professional. They did everything one would expect to take great care of your furniture and belongings. But the reason Im leaving then a bad one star review is not due to the moving crew, but the management... my brand new 50" Sony TV was scratched badly during the move. Now it was packages correctly, but must have been in a bad place in the truck, I think something was banging up against the screen. Things may have shifted in the drive. Im not sure, things happen. Im sure it could have been placed better in the truck. But more importantly the managements remidie to the damage was absolutely absurd. I signed up for their coverage plan that was $0.60/pound of the damaged item. Which for a flat screen TV is ridiculous. The tv only weighs 28 pounds. Making the reimbursement only $16! For a $1,000 TV. What heck am I supposed to do with $16? Now they had another premium option, which was like $1/pound. Not really any better is it? Now they assured me that theyve never damaged a TV before, EVER! So I trusted them with mine. Never again.... when I called to file my claim they said all they could do is issue me a check for the agreed upon price per pound. And that they had no suggestions to even get it fixed! Thats just downright bad business. I mean if its never ever happened, couldnt they bite the bullet this one time and cover my TV cost. Or at least half! I mean come on.... the management just does not care at all... I will never use them again and nor will any of my friends or family ever use them.

Matt was a pleasure to talk to on the phone and answered all of my questions. I called around to get quotes from other companies and this one seemed the most reasonable and pleasant to deal with. About a month later, I called Matt back to book the move. The prices had since risen, but he honored the prices from our original call even though we didnt do a contract or anything and the call was merely informational. I thought this said a lot about the company. Moving day came and one member of the crew did not show. The remaining two guys called me to explain the situation and ask if I wanted to start the job with two guys while they worked to get a third, and that is what we did. James and Tyler showed up bright and early with smiles! These guys worked HARD. The two of them work well together and strategized to fit everything into the truck like a puzzle without wasting any time. I couldnt believe how effortlessly they carried heavy items together down the steps and into the truck. Seriously, PROMOTE THESE TWO! :) They moved my entire 2 bedroom apartment themselves in just a few hours. After lunch, a third guy joined in on the fun, Marcus, and they unloaded the truck and put everything into my new house without any problems. These guys were polite, friendly, and incredibly hard working. I would most definitely recommend this company!

Let me start off by saying that I have had three highly unsuccessful long distance moves in the last four years and was not looking forward to my upcoming move from Wilmington to Raleigh, NC. The previous companies broke pieces of furniture, lost pieces of furniture, were late on pick up and delivery times, had terrible customer service and unprofessional employees that came to pick up my belongings. An executive from my company used Few Moves in his move from Greensboro to Wrightsville Beach and had nothing but GREAT things to say about his experience! I called Few Moves and was able to get my move scheduled in minutes, it was super easy. On the morning of the move, Collins and Ryan showed up on time and immediately made me feel comfortable with the choice I made in Few Moves. They assured me that everything would be covered and secured in the truck so that my items would not be in danger of getting damaged! They arrived in Raleigh on time and all of my belongings were in one piece. If you are looking for movers in the Wilmington area, you would be foolish not to use these guys! A++

I used Few Moves for a local home move. I am rating them with five stars for excellence based on the following: 1) Both the driver, who’s name escapes me, and Forrester were very professional. They looked professional and spoke politely. They addressed every concern I had and were careful with my things. They seemed like good guys and I didn’t feel like I had to lord over them to prevent theft like I have done with past moves using other companies. 2) All equipment seemed to be in good repair. The truck was in good condition and all moving blankets were clean. 3) They were on time and respectful of my time. These two men worked hard the whole time they were there. I offered them water and they drank it but didn’t wait around rushing the clock. 4) None of my things were broken or missing at the end of the move. As a Military brat who joined the Army out of high school, I have had the displeasure of moving my household goods over 20 times due to PCS orders. Now that I am out and can choose who moves my thing, FEW MOVES will be the ones doing it if they are available.
