Completely unreliable! My car needed a new set of tires. I have used their website to choose the tires and set up the appointment. They promise to call back within a few business hours to confirm. I received no call or email within the next two days, so I called them and requested the appointment over the phone. On the scheduled day, I brought my car in for the service only to find out that they by mistake only ordered two tires (needed all four). First they tried to blame it on me but fortunately I had the quote printed out that clearly showed that I requested all four tires. They promised to order the remaining two and call me back when they arrive. Of course no call. I called them, made sure they had all four tires, scheduled a new appointment. Back in the store they promised to have the tires changed within an hour (TirePlus has a program that guarrantees the service in 59 minutes or less with an appointment). Came back an hour later, my car still in front of the store, untouched. I called the manager, who had the mechanic start on my car right away. It still took almost twice the promised time and they decided that they had no time for the wheel alignment that was supposed to be part of the service. I had to get it done in another store a couple days later. As frustrating as this was, few weeks later my wife also needed tire change and we decided to give TirePlus one more try since they are close by. Again I made an online appointment, again no confirmation so I had to call them to make sure that they received the request (and ordered all four tires!). They ensured me that yes, I can bring the car, and yes, it will take about an hour. We came to the store and the first thing we were told was that they have a lot of customers and it will be at least two hours before they can even start on our car. So what is the point of making an appointment then? Unfortunately, we did not have that much time and had to walk out. My advice is when you look for new tires, look someplace else. These guys are definitely not interested in your business.

DISHONEST!! I took my car there for an oil change. They were prompt in servicing my car, but when I picked it up they tried to scare me into immediately purchasing 4 new tires, using their tire tread rating system to illustrate that my tires were "dangerously bare". Now, being a female I know that some auto repair places see me as an easy target. However, my tires had been recently changed (roughly 1 1/2 years ago) so I know for a fact that they were trying to take advantage. This little stunt definitely blacklisted them in my book. To make matters worse not 2 weeks after my oil change with them I got an "OIL CHANGE REQUIRED" notice on my console. I had a mechanic friend take a look at it and he verified that neither the oil filter nor the oil had been changed (no wonder they were so quick!). Also, just to be sure, he checked the tires and, big surprise, they were fine. This is by far the worst place Ive dealt with. Total lack of business ethics. Ive made it a point to steer my friends and family away from the shop and I would definitely suggest to anyone reading these reviews to err on the side of caution and go elsewhere.

Wanted a place to take my vehicles for routine maintenance, purchased $700 in tires from them. My last time there,I spent 3hours even with an appointment. I saw a woman who must be a regular talking to everyone at the counter and going in and out of the garage. My vehicle was brought in to a bay, tires removed on lift, I think they decided to get woman in and out ahead of my vehicle and others. After walking outside 4- 5 times, walking around the corner to see my vehicle just sitting there, the manager finally acknowledged me. I was told they tried to contact me (I was waiting there), technician ran the scan, brakes are good and it costs this amount. Needless to say, my emergency brakes still dont work, I saw exactly what went on, and you want me to believe you serviced my vehicle. I was not charged for the scan. Brandon is helpful, but wasnt there that day.

Horrible experience! We brought an old vehicle in to get a cheap set of tires installed. The tires were summer rated tires as advertised on the website. When we made the appointment the sales person only mentioned that the tires were " not good in the snow." When we arrived to pick up the vehicle Chris with Tires Plus told us in a very condescending tone that in less than 40 degree temperatures the driver will loose control of the vehicle and crash. This was very condescending to my fiancé who ordered the tires and made her very upset! I understand they were cheap tires but telling us this while the tires were already installed and selling us these tire without a disclaimer was unprofessional.

I was greatly disappointed in the service I received from Tires Plus located at 861 Russell Ave, Gaithersburg, MD. I dropped off my car to receive simple services. Five hours later, the only work performed on my car was an oil change. I was then asked to wait another 30 minutes to an 1 hour for the actual work, that should have been completed five hours prior, to begin. I was very upset and disappointed with the lack of customer service and respect for my time. I do not recommend this tire plus location to anyone. Also, when I was complaining about my lack of service, there was another customer complaining about their service as well.

Knowable staff, very professional. The outside, front desk and waiting area look a bit dismol. However as I already stated the staff know what they are doing. WAIT TIME: 1 hour and 30 minutes. COST: Competitive. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome! Below is my experience. I ordered tiers in and the truck bringing them in broke down. They called me as soon as they found out. I scheduled a appointment for two days later. The day I was to go in the belt in their tier changer. Again they called be two hours before my appointment and let me know. Third time was a charm for me and they took care of me!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Between my wife and I, they have cared for 4 cars in that time. I trust them with my vehicle and other than a couple of hiccups (in over 10 years) everything has been flawless. Hugo the manager is thorough, friendly and aims to please all customers. I stopped going to my dealership for service, as these guys cover it all better, cheaper, faster and without the bait and switch that the sharks at the dealership do. Be patient and courteous with them, come with something to read or play with. They will take care of you. I am very satisfied.

I went to Tires Plus in Gaithersburg, after a bad experience with Merchants Tires on Woodfield road in Gaithersburg. I told them that I had slightly lowered my car. They came out, looked at the car, and told me that it should fit on the rack. They gave me excellent advice on a new set of tires. They completed the job in approximately 2 hours, ahead of schedule from what they had initially estimated. They were courteous, professional, and had an overall excellent customer service. I would go back to them in a heartbeat. Excellent job!! Keep up the good work.
