They wasted my time and put the wrong tires on my car--not the correct ones that I had requested and paid for. To top it off, they left my trunk in shambles with the donut and jack just thrown in and not in its proper place. Seriously, I wouldve just done it myself if I knew they didnt know what theyre doing. The customer service was very unfriendly and uncaring, and did not want to be bothered by questions, just wanted my money. Dave James, the general manager, is probably the rudest individual I have ever met. When I came back my third time to fix up their screw up, I did not get even one apology. When I (calmly) asked if I would get a reimbursement or refund of labor charges, Dave got ANGRY (not kidding) and decided that he needed to raise his voice and told me "I was through" and that there was no way I was going to be compensated (or at the very least apologized to). In tears at this point, I said that I only asked because I had been very inconvenienced by the 4+ hours in total this service had taken, considering I had to come back multiple times to fix their mistake. I was late for work twice. He said he did not care. Loudly. This is absolutely the worst service place Ive been to. If you feel like being disrespected by Dave James, then this is the place for you. If you like going to a place that cant be trusted to do a proper job, this is also the place for you. Customer does NOT come first here.

Ive been taking my car here for repairs and service since 2014 and have almost always been very pleased with the quality of automotive and customer service. They give me available discounts without my having to ask about them. If they cant fix something they are honest about it . The hourly labor rate of $110 is less than what most service shops charge. Only issues: (1) they dont accept customer parts. Mr. Tire does. (2) Their master mechanic couldnt determine what was wrong with the A/C system and so told me to take my car to a dealer. Done. Hmmm...dealer quoted me more than $900 to replace the blower and resistor and recharge the coolant. No thanks. Time for DYI. I watched some YouTube videos and joined a free internet forum for MBs. Learned how to easily read the error and fault codes by pressing the climate control buttons. Discovered that only the regulator that controls the fan speed had burned out. Bought a OEM regulator online for $25, installed it and recharged the coolant with a can from AutoZone for $20. The blower was fine. Firestones oversight saved me a huge bundle but I was very surprised that their master mechanic didnt know how to do read A/C error and fault codes. There are tons of web links to them so its common knowledge. Other than that they have done a good job with oil and tire service and explaining how things work

Excellent experience. I went to the shop on a Thursday at 4pm looking for a wheel alignment and possibly a brake fluid flush. They quoted me the prices, added a discount and noted they were pretty busy - I asked to make an appointment for the next day instead. Showed up at same time next day (with appointment) and had the alignment, brake test and brake fluid flush in 45min. These guys were great - and I noticed when the guy doing the work parked my car after he was done, he walked back inside, came back out with a clean rag and buffed around the hood. I washed and waxed it the day before, and this impressed the hell out of me. Some folks have complained that these guys are not responsive when you first walk in the shop - I did have to wait a few minutes for help, but thats because they took the time to explain in detail the work they were suggesting. I found them helpful and friendly and honest. Overall, great experience. Will definitely use these guys again.

To start with these guys are great! The worst part of my experience was watching a customer make an ass of himself because he thought having an appointment meant that he should be pulled into a bay as soon as he pulled into the drive (fat guy with a white Jeep with DC plates) he will probably write some lame review that will pull this stores rating down. So, read on... These guys did an amazing alignment on my old truck with big tires and I was prepared to pay for a lifetime alignment because my truck is old and probably would need it again. When they handed me my bill it was $0.00! Yep, nothing! Thinking this was a mistake I questioned the nice person behind the counter and was informed that they had checked the Firestone history on my truck and I had purchased a lifetime alignment in 2005 and therefore it was covered. When does that ever happen? A tribute to Firestones database but also a huge tribute to Alic and the crew at the McLean Firestone. A job well done.

Do not go to the springfield firestone. I have had so much trouble with them. my personal mechanic is a technician at mclean firestone and after complaining about springfield, he said they are horrible, and come to mclean. Other shops were saying my struts were bad and to pay them $1000+ dollars to replace the struts, which is why i was getting so much vibration/shimmy in the wheels/car. They inspected, and found all 4 wheels were out of balance and the alignment was off (after just geting them aligned/balanced in springfield!) and my struts/suspension were just fine. These people are honest, and have great customer service. I would recommend this firestone (run by shane) to anyone.theyre machines are great and they have good technicians. I will travel from springfield to mclean whenever I have issues, its worth the trip. on the drive there, my car was shaking and vibrating from the wheels. On the drive home, it was as smooooooth as butter. VERY HAPPY.

CUSTOMERS-you are NOT going to get your moneys worth here!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. The mechanics are not efficient with their time, customer service is lacking in all aspects-they are very rude, condescending, and disrespectful to say the least. In all honesty, the only reason why anyone should come here is if they want a FREE battery check-other than that, get your battery inspection and go somewhere else!! Not only do they overcharge you for the parts and labor, but they are also vague as to why they are having to "inspect" your car. -----No, I will not pay you $800 dollars so you can go in a "see" what is wrong; just to have you tell me my cost has now gone up to $1300. This is the worst service I have ever had, and I will NEVER ever go back even if I am stranded on the road and it is the only shop within a twenty mile radius; I would rather have my car towed to a different place further out then EVER come back here. Please, DO BETTER.

I have been taking all my tire work there for about fifteen years. Im a track driver too, so there are multiple cars, with multiple sets of wheels, to keep in rubber. I spend more on rubber some years than some people spend on car insurance. They have mounted at least 8 rounds of track tires for me and the balance has been good, even up at 140 mph on the front straight. No shop is perfect but if theres any issue they always make it right. And they never act like jerks or like theyre doing me a favor to explain the work they did, which is getting rarer and rarer in DC metro area auto businesses. Plus a couple of times they have done tire warranty work for me, which means one of their guys has to spend about half an hour on the phone getting the claim through, which they took care of no hassle.
