It is not trustable. I went to there for oil change this Thursday. After checking the brake system, the shop recommended to replace wheel cylinders because of brake oil leaking, replace rotor because it is too thin, replace front pads, etc. When I talked to the front desk about the price, he shown me the price on computer screen with different service options. Since the wheel cylinder leaking is very dangerous, I asked them to replace the cylinders only, and the price shown on computer screen is $376. I also asked him if he could give me any discount. He said he is not the boss and he didnt want to lose his job blah blah blah. At that time I totally forgot about I had a coupon printed out from Meineke webset in my pocket. After I paid the $376, I realized I had the coupon and called the front desk about the coupon for saving $20. He refused to honor the coupon. The excuse he claimed is he has given me several discounts on the service. He even ask me to get price from other auto shops such as Midas or Good Year for the same service to prove he has already given me some discounts. This is just way ridiculous. I told him I would like to talk to his boss/owner. He told me he is the boss. WTF, he told me he is not the boss and didnt want to lose his job when I asked for discount before the service. Lesson learned: This shop is not trustable. They would do anything to get momey from your pocket. I have also complained to Meineke website. They didnt help either. What they told me is that I need to present the coupon before negotiate price for the service, otherwise, they cannot honor the coupon. What a fake coupon. If I present coupon first, they just simply add the coupon price to the total price and the coupon just dont do any good to me. Anyway, I will not go to any Meineke shops anymore.

Tl;dr they had some inexperience employee worked on my car, messed up an oil leak fix caused the leak to continue, he doesnt even know how to reset my change oil indicator light. Also in attempt to fix the leak, he damaged the subframe nut and bolt. I went about 3 weeks ago. they noticed my oil pan was leaking. They said it could be caused by gasket. So I asked them go replace it. I provided the gasket. This was done by some new employee because he was receiving instruction by the manager and another older employer there. I left the car in my parking area for a week. Last week I started driving again, noticed a small clunking noise on low speed. Since I was in silver spring I brought to c&d auto, the highest rated AAA authorized repair shop. They said they realize whats wrong with it. A bolt that tightens the sub frame underneath the was damaged. They said they can fix it for $450, part of it was they have to remove radiator to reach for it. When I went to pick it up, they asked if any work was done in that area recently, I told them meineke replaced the gasket. They said this could be damaged by replacing gasket if it wasnt done correctly. They also noticed the oil pan lose and it was leaking oil again. I called meineke, they reduce to own up to their mistake. The manager give me the store owners number. I called the owner, an "assistant" picked up the call, told me the owner will call me back. One week later, they still havent called me back

Best experience every working with car people! I am not one to write reviews, but this experience was so different from almost EVERY experience I have had taking care of cars over the past 15 years of my life, I decided to. I am totally ignorant of cars and often feel like I am at the mercy of others to help me know what my car needs. At jiffy lube, they try to sell you 20 different upgrades, they barely explain why you need them but make it seem like you REALLY NEED them.I just want my car to run well and keep me safe, I dont want to turbo charge anything please! Or, Mr. Tire advertises cheap prices and then blind side you with a lot of additional fees, and I swear every time I have left my car with them they seem to find $500-1000 worth of repairs they want to do. The new management here I felt took the time to assess my cars needs and teach me about what they would recommend and why. They actually taught me about brakes and how they measure safety and what tells them its time for new ones. They taught (silly) me that I should fill my car tires to the recommended 32 PSI not the max fill 44 PSI, and that is probably why my flat tire sensor was occasionally flashing. And I got out of there for $25 dollars (with a coupon) that included a more thorough review of my cars condition and 4 months roadside assistance. It was great, I will definitely be going back for all my oil changes, and probably more!

The front service was satisfactory, but overall, I was not pleased with performance of the labor or price. A stainless steel muffler was brought in to be welded onto a 2011 GMC truck. A telephone estimate of $200 was quoted for welding the muffler in place. Parts would be extra (the new muffler was shorter than the OEM muffler, therefore, an extension would have to be installed between the muffler and original exhaust pipe. When I arrived the estimate was $350. I already had taken the day off for this, so I had them proceed with the installation. Upon inspecting the work, it appeared a novice welder did the job (no straight or continuous beads, slag everywhere, and blow holes through the fittings) To make matters worse there are two clamps holding the pipes together. None of the installed pipes/clamps are stainless steel (the muffler and factory exhaust pipes are unpolished stainless steel). I was told the job would take almost 2-hours, but it turned into 2-hrs 40-min. For the cost of this job I could have purchased a complete new stainless steel cat-back system.

They are very very bad. I will never go there again.I went there last week because my engine light is on. They said my car needed to change sensor. I said fine. It is $299 plus $199. And they said my car needed fuel service, which is $239. I dont know much about car. I thought that would solve the problem of my car, so I agreed to do the service. Then, they said they found another problem, the muffler was broken, and they can replace the short pipe. They asked $250 for it. So, together, I spent almost $1000 there. After I paid, I finally got the price detail, for they never let me see before I paid. They charged me 4 hours of labor fee, $104 each hour. 2 hours for the fuel service and 2 hours for muffler replace. Yet, they only spent less than two hours on my car. It was ridiculous. And they refused to refund. I regret being that terrible place where I lost too much money I shouldnt have paid if I went to other car centers. Dont trust anyone in that car center and dont go there for any service, especially when you dont know cars much.

Bad customer service. On the day of my scheduled oil change I went over and the representative told me there was no spots available for the oil change. I told him Ive made a reservation days ago but he told me there was an issue with the server and they were unable to retrieve information regarding scheduled appointments made online. I said then shouldnt you guys take down the website during the meantime and fix the issue? He told me I can take my concern to the customer service and if I am really in need of an oil change to "just take it somewhere else." I ask what can you do for me then? He said I can reschedule you for tomorrow. Of course I dont need the oil change immediate the day of but It was really unprofessional to make the customer go on a meaningless trip and do nothing in response to the issue due to errors on their side. The way the representative presents the situation is really frustrating, simply noting the issue and not making any regards of the inconvenience it makes to the customers who scheduled online.
