On 7 August, 2015, Chris, Jarvis and Darius of Two Men and a Truck, Crofton arrived on time to move the contents of the one bedroom condo unit from Silver Spring to Hanover, MD. I have moved many times before and have experience with a number of moving companies in Maryland and nationally. I must say this was quite the experience. Although I agree with other comments that the movers are most pleasant, I must say that beyond that, this would rate as the worse move of my lifetime and that includes moving in college with friends banging things around. Bearing in mind that I have had movers well over ten times with the most recent in Maryland just last year. First they arrived on time then took 2.5 hours to load a sofa, 2 chairs, bed, dresser, 2 bar stools, small tv stand, a lamp and wine chest. In comparison the movers from last year which unfortunately where not available this time moved all of the above plus 12 boxes, 3 paintings and a TV in just over an hour. They simply did not know how to do a move, my lamp was broken, the matress and box spring was clearly dropped as it was stained with black soot and as nice as they were, they did not seem to know how to wrap and protect things or load them appropriately. I would caution anyone using this company given they are on the higher end of cost and lower end of quality to consider other options. You will get better quality at a lower price elsewhere. When in need of movers again, I will not use Two Men and a Truck.

Schedulers were VERY accommodating. But Ive moved and had movers who were careful and faster than this group. Having said that I had three men. Two were good steady workers. One seemed to be in training and the other was instructing him. The third mover...I dont know. I was moving furniture out of someone elses home into my own. While he was on the clock with my move, he moved furniture for the owner of this other home and was paid by him. He dawdled a lot. A lot. I never saw him carry anything heavy. He had trouble reading the correct address for a stop. Before the movers left my house he moved a bunk bed ladder and leaned it against a piece of art (inexpensive but special to me) and scratched paint off it. No repeat business here.

I moved a lot when I was a kid. I have memories of gruff looking men in dirty clothes moving (and sometimes losing) our valuables. This was my expectation. Imagine my surprise when a team of enthusiastic, professional and friendly folks showed up to help me on a really stressful day. The whole team was amazing. I had a complicated move and neither the lead nor the team members batted an eye. They asked polite questions and referred to me by Name. They also worked hard to make sure I didnt spend more than I have to. This whole thing was really over the top awesome. They run a great business and Ill tell everyone I know about it.

I have been remiss - we moved in October 2015 and had Jason, Omar, and Chris E. as our movers. They were FANTASTIC! They handled everything with care, and went above and beyond the line of duty. How, you ask? We finished the move during rush hour Washington DC traffic... after they left, they discovered a post of one of our canopy beds in the back. They drove all the way back to return it!!! I am so pleased, that if we need to move again, we will definitely be calling them to do the work. Thank you, all three of the men, Jason, Omar, and Chris E, and the staff, so much! You made a trying day so much easier.

The crew that did my move Avon, Leon, Jason were excellent, they took great care of my belongings, they were fast, friendly and helpful. The office staff Evan, and Blake were professional and helped make a stressful time much easier. I appreciate the phone calls the day before and day of to check on how things were going. Top to bottom this company provided excellent customer service, I will be moving again and plan to call Two Men And A Truck for the next move.

I used Two Men and a Truck Annapolis for my first move on my own. I was overwhelmed and didnt get all my packing done before the movers arrived. I called them just as they were heading out and they said "No problem!". They showed up with boxes and finished my packing for me and got everything taken care of. All i had to do was sit back and watch. I will definitely be using them next time. Great job!

Starting with Ian, on the estimate and scheduling, all the way through our move with Chuck, Shyam, and Karrington, it was an excellent and enjoyable experience. “The two guys, MIke and Brandon, were terrific ! Very hard workers, I tied them up for nearly the entire day when wed only planned for a few hours. They let me know it would cost more (I was OK with that) and even helped me put stuff into my storage area. They were great ! “
