This is the worst post office i have ever been to and thats not being dramatic. they constantly deliver my packages to another house that has the same house number but has A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STREET NAME. does this mean they only read the numbers in the address before delivering packages? they should read the entire address line not just the numbers. this has happened more times than i can count over the 2 years i have rented this house. the next issue is they mark things as "delivered" when nothing was delivered. the fill in driver for the normal usps driver is a lazy person so when he fills up his truck he scans all the packages as delivered long before anything is delivered. this wouldnt be so much of an issue if he actually delivered all of the packages! he has taken packages back to the post office that were scanned and marked as delivered knowing they werent delivered leaving me rushing around to get ahold of these people only to find out they never answer the dang phone! so everytime i have to drive to the post office and demand my packages and getting them to actually search for stuff in the back is like pulling teeth. they moan and groan and swear nothing is back there and when there is something they get another person to bring it out so they dont have to admit that they were wrong. you would think after seeing me dozens of times for the same issue they would know to trust the words coming out of my mouth a bit more or at the very least tell your employees to do their dang jobs but i guess that requires the boss to do his job huh?? finally....the drivers dont pickup mail either. more specifically the fill in driver who seems to fill in more and more now literally takes the letter out of the mailbox puts the mail in the mailbox for that day and puts the letter that was placed in there to be sent ontop of the pile of mail. i tried confronting him once and he slammed on the gas to get away leaving the mailbox door sitting wide open! he works super hard to not work. we also put a note taped to the door when stuff needs to be sent so when the door is opened they can clearly see the letter and the paper saying this needs to be sent out. all in all these people go above and beyond to not do their jobs for whatever reason. the lady that is the normal driver actually does what she is being paid to do but so far everyone else refuses to do anything. thank god im moving at the end of the month....this wont be an issue where im going.

I am scared to use USPS for delivery of my shipped items because they tend to state that goods have been delivered when there is nothing delivered. I do not know what the intent is when they mark "delivered" without delivering the item. The first time I thought the package was stolen from my door step where they claimed to have delivered it. But after a couple of same episodes I realized that its habitual. It should be against the law to have the shipping institute lie about delivering items that have not been delivered. They are happy to toss things by the door without any evidence that the item was delivered because it is their word against the receiver. Also possibly they mark packages delivered because they want their records in the system to reflect that they meet delivery deadlines while at a physical lever they do not. This is just a mess. As a matter of fact, I would rather use the most reliable although expensive UPS because delivery within the specified time is guaranteed. I will no longer be using USPS for any more of my deliveries. I am done with their lies and sloppiness. As we speak, I have a package marked delivered on my tracking record but I have not seen it. I just opened up a dispute last night and for me to get back my money it will take weeks as they tend to take their time to sort out this mess. So pathetic!!!

HORRIBLE CASHIER, HER NAME IS: FURSHICA(ASIAN female)9am) Im 3rd in line..The manager opens at 9:03am. The two gentleman in front of me go straight to the open cashiers ( they skip going to the lane where customers suppose to wait in.Also known as "the line") So, I skip going around the empty line and go straight to open cashier: Furshica. Furshica orders me to go back and enter the customer line ( There was no customer waiting in line!!!) I do it because I dont want any trouble, but I felt humiliated. When I got there I told her I want the cheapest rate. I could barely hear and understand.her, I had to ask her over and over and she got extremely rude with me and said, "I told you 7 times." My response to her was, I JUST WANTED TO BE SURE." I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHEN THE BILL COMES I WILL DISPUTE IT. MY ADVICE TO GERMANTOWN POST OFFICE : HIRE PROFESSIONAL CASHIERS!!!! AND TO THE BLOGGERS ON HERE START WRITING THE NAMES OF THESE RUDE EMPLOYEES BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BE START BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND IT WILL help US customers BE PREPARED TO DEAL WITH THESE UNGRATEFUL workers.

Very terrible. Paid for a replacement key for my mailbox. Three weeks later they havent changed the mailbox lock nor have we recieved a phone call for our new keys. .. I have called them everyday and everyday we get an excuse. We literally have to stalk the carrier to get our mail. They either need new management or more workers in this location. Absolutely HORRIBLE. ***UPDATE*** I tracked a package from DHL and it was confirmed that it was delivered to my mailbox yesterday. I checked the mailbox today... no package. I called DHL and they let me know that this post office confirmed the delivery to our mailbox and to contact the post office directly. I have been on hold for 20 mins so far after the postmaster answered the phone!?! Are you kidding me?! Verrry poor customer care. I really hope they didnt deliver my package to someone elses slot!! And... the guy comes back to the phone to tell me that our mail is held at the office because our keys were changed-2 WEEKS AGO!? Like, really?! Weve gotten this weeks mail just fine. Stop with the excuses... I beg of you.

I went here to drop off a parcel today and I dont have a packing tape to close my small box. I asked this Chinese Lady at the counter if she can put a packing tape on it or if she can give me a small part of the tape so I can close the box and to my surprise she told me THEY dont have any. I was like what? how is it possible for a post office not having a Packing Tape? She told me well since this is not ours and this is only for dropped off then I cant give you a tape. If you like to close this you have to buy a packing tape its $3.40(a total rob!!!) I was like what the hell are you talking about? What a CUSTOMER SERVICE does this post office have? I am not asking for you to give me the whole packing tape I just need a small part of a packing tape to close it. And beside your not paying for the tape in the Post office. She even told me you should have closed this first before coming here... duh! that is the reason why I am asking if you have some so I can closed the box because I dont have one. What a Morning! Thank you for making my TUESDAY!
