My family had a horrible experience here. After calling a few thousand times to make a passport appointment, we finally got one... for 3 weeks later. Apparently they dont have an answering machine or multiple phone lines (its always busy). So, the day came and we went to the appointment. The lady came out 15 minutes past our appointment time and started asking if we had this and if we had that. There was no emotion involved and she wasnt very pleasant. She said we needed copies of both our drivers licenses and the form was supposed to be in black ink. All of this information would have been nice to know beforehand, but nothing was explained to us when making the appointment. My wife hadnt brought her license with her, so the woman said we would have to reschedule. There was no way we were going to reschedule for another 3 weeks later. I live right down the street, so I said I would go grab it while my wife helped get the photo of our daughter. The woman seemed okay with that and led them into the room while I went to get her license. When I arrived back to the post office, there they were waiting in the lobby. Were they all set? Nope. Apparently they couldnt let us finish because they had another appointment after ours that had to be taken care of. This is absolutely uncalled for. The customer service is terrible. We were not treated with respect at all. There was no, "Im sorry for your inconvenience" or "Let me see what I can do." Nothing was explained to us, they would not budge at all and let us finish getting my daughters passport or let us go after the family in front of us. Its nearly impossible to get a hold of them on the phone and when we do there isnt anything available for weeks. We wasted way too much of our time with this place. I will never be returning to this post office, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Fix your customer service and your phones.

If I could leave a 0 star, I would! SAME ISSUES THAT HAVE BEEN COMPLAINED ABOUT TIME & TIME AGAIN!!!! The staff here are INSANELY rude, condescending & dont give a crap about your customers or issues worth delivery. On top of it, I have never in my life received so many wrong deliveries than I have here at my current address. Ive lived in several different locations & the amount of wrong mail delivered added up over YEARS at all of them dont even come close to how much it has happened here in Stafford!!!! THEN for over a WEEK, we did not get mail delivery AT ALL & Im talking about over half of my community at embrey mill- I KNOW FOR A FACT I have not been the only one to complain. Well now Im even MORE furious to not only receive a PILE of mail from a neighbor who was out of town, so good only knows how long he had ALL of our mail, but when I checked my own box, we had 4 pieces of TWO of our neighbors AND I was JUST delivered a MEDICAL BILL that is in danger of going to collections because the date on it is from Dec. 08, 2016. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! We as a community were given the BULLSHIT excuse that they were in the process of changing drivers & that the neighborhood is "confusing" um no it isnt- your JOB is to READ the address & DELIVER IT TO THE PROPER LOCATION. This has been an ongoing issue since we moved here LAST JANUARY. JAN 27TH 2016. FIX IT ALREADY!!!!! We have been lenient enough but when your mistakes are costing others, its time we put our foot down. I will be taking this nonsense as far as I can go, to see that it is rectified!!!!!! With regards, Pissed off newly Mr. Postal customer, Which by the way Mr. Postal PUMMELS YOU ALL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The Stafford location is the worst I can recall dealing with. And I can remember some pretty bad locations! (Monterey being notable among them.) Stafford has a completely slack, I-dont-give-a-xxxx-about-you attitude. I feel as though I am inconveniencing them just by being there. Forgive me for wanting to send certified and insured parcels...my bad. Next time Ill just send via UPS or FedEx. They give me the distinct impression they could not care less about their job, my mail, or anything except their own convenience. One lady flat out lied to me about the status of my forwarded mail, saying it was "unclaimed", when I had filled out the form right in front of another man, and inquired two more times (and once by telephone). I got my mail one month later...after it arrived at my old address! Just AWFUL. I shouldnt generalize across the agency, but it is hard to hold back a growing opinion that the USPS has been taken over by...I dont quite know how to describe it.... The GAO and IG need to take a close look -- and please do not listen to the executive leadership. They have no idea what is going on. They are completely clueless about the quality of employees they are hiring to work in the offices, as evinced by that sham of a website and their cheesy motivational messages. Just go full automation, please. Ill pay the extra $0.05 per stamp to finance the initial investment. But dont give those overpaid executive idiots any raises or promotions until there is proof that things are better. Just because they say so, aint so! Almost as bad as the Veterans Administration when it comes to the awful, lazy, unhelpful people I have to deal with.

This is not the worst post office in America. This is the worst post office in all of human history. Ive lived here since mid 09, and Ive moved once within Stafford. In the five years I lived in the first house, my mail was consistently delivered to various neighbors (and vice versa). After moving to my next house and properly forwarding my address, Ive had to go to the old house to pick up mail and personally forward mail from the previous owner of my new house. If we try to reroute the mail to the proper recipient through the post office, it is NEVER seen again. These issues are all minor compared to the nightmare that is the post office experience. The only thing that trumps the staffs utter incompetence and belligerently slow work pace is their combative attitudes and rude behavior. There is no way this post office is subject to legitimate oversight or quality control. If this federal facility is given a passing grade for standards and practices, then it is done so through obvious corruption. Any attempt to address performance issues with the professional work dodgers in this office will result in everything from denial and counter accusations to outright lies. No excuses. No apologies. Certainly no corrections. Any positive reviews for this full-on dumpster fire of a post office are clearly planted.

Call in to setup a passport application: No answer, ever. Cant apply for a passport without appointment. Do we see the irony yet? On top of the quite obvious issue, I constantly receive mail for my neighbors while not receiving mine. They mark items delivered when they have no plan to deliver them that day (Im guessing its some way around getting in trouble) and then deliver them a following day at their leisure. When I first moved into my new home they returned every package I had coming to me back to the shipper, and yes, I filled out an address change form. When I visit these wonderfully horrible people in the post office they have no professionalism, can never seem to figure out what went wrong or wont even try. This is the most god awful post office Ive ever seen. I believe that if they actually trained chimpanzees to do this job that it could be performed better and even be more professional. They have managed to mark every package I get as undeliverable. Thanks for the horrible customer service both at the mail box and in the office.
