Edit: so it turns out it wasnt even my motherboard. I just bought a brand new direct replacement mobo and the exact same problem. I paid $50 for them to do nothing and ended up costing me an additional $200 that I hopefully will be able to get back. I just got off the phone with the tech who basically told me I have to wait to contact the owner who doesnt have any set schedule of when I can reach him and that "weve also seen brand new motherboards that dont work". Ill give it till monday for the owner to get back to me before I write this place off as a total scam, but I dont have high hopes. Avoid this place. Really not sure how to feel about my experience with this store. Over the weekend I dried something in my computer, the computer I built 5 years ago. I was pretty confident my motherboard had failed, how ever I wasnt sure if the mobo had damaged any other components in the system. This being a gaming rig has some fairly pricey parts in it, but like I said its 5 years old so Im torn between cutting my losses and upgrading to a newer mobo/ cpu or if it was just a single part I might just replace that. Being short on time, I decided to have a 3rd party figure out exactly what was failed on the system, but most importantly verify that all my other components were OK. They simply plugged a new power supply in to rule out my PS, plugged in a new video card to rule out my GPU and the same with the RAM. Great, so you verified my suspicion. Now what about my other parts? I get that the mobo isnt giving them any signal, but that doesnt mean that they still work either... I kind of need to know now before i start ordering parts where I stand in this, and now Im taking a gamble assuming that all my components are OK. I realize individually testing the mobo and CPU require another mobo and CPU with the same socket which they might not have, not a huge problem. How ever I stressed to them that the video card specifically was only a few months old and its very important for me to know now that its OK or damaged. They did not test it at all. Basically I hired them to check all my parts and tell me what is damaged. They figured out the root of the problem, so they didnt do nothing... but I just paid $50 for someone to do 15 minutes of plugging in different parts to basically told me what I already knew. Now Im spending the time I really dont have to take apart another computer of mine so I can swap in parts from my broken PC just to verify 100% that they indeed still work, which is what I was supposed to be paying them to do for me. For me personally, huge waste of time and money dealing with compu. Would have been better off just doing it myself.

I brought my laptop computer into this business in March. I paid the repair fee, and when they told me that I needed to get the screen replaced, I paid for that as well even though it cost more than a screen replacement normally would have. However, when I picked it up I discovered that there was debris inside the screen. They thought that it must have been introduced when the screen was replaced and, after I brought it back a second time, they cleaned it for no extra charge. However, when I picked it up I noticed that there was still debris under the screen which I pointed out to them at the time. The employee in the store saw it and agreed with me that that was the case and that it needed to be resolved. However I had already waited quite some time to get my laptop back which I needed for work and indicated that I could not leave it that day. Later I discovered that the computer was actually not properly assembled and there was a huge opening in the top which is presumably where the dust was getting in. I called about this in early April and talked to someone on the phone. They looked up my case by name. They did not mention that I was very close to the end of the warranty period. I did not have the extended length of time that I could be without this computer that I use on a nearly daily basis for work until now. Even though this is a problem that was caused by mistakes made in their own repair process, they were never able to resolve it with urgency or prioritize it. So I had to wait until I had at least a week available for them to take it. But when I brought it in, they said that it had been too long since I had originally brought it in and that they would not even give me a discount on the repair. Even though they caused it and acknowledged as much not only well within the warranty period but the day I picked it up, before I even brought it home. Their work is inferior and their word is unreliable.

Worse experience ever! DO NOT BUY HERE. I bought 2 GB RAM DDR2. Price was too high for a chip of RAM that was used, sitting in a box with other computer parts unsealed, and the sales person needed my help to find it. When I asked him if it will work he responded that if it doesnt than bring it back and I will find an other one. Cause I had to be at a client with work matter I took the RAM for $42 with tax and left. When I finished work I wasnt sure that I want to use the RAM that I got from this store. Cause living in Columbia I have to drive all the way here to return it, when the sales person looked to me sure that it will happen, so I took the RAM back on my way home to return it. Guess what, no returns tells me the same guy when I didnt even open it and on the receipt it says that it can be returned or exchange in 14 days. Well than he said that he will charge me a %20 restocking fee. To the end he refunded only $40. I wasted my time and $2 for a bad customer service and no product. Than went to Microcenter in Towson and got a brand new chip of RAM 2GB DDR2 stick for $15.99 and had a great customer service. I am always looking and buying stuff from small retailers to help them out but THESE GUYS are TOO GREEDY !!! Do not recommend them at all!!! His name was John ...

This is absolutely the worst repair shop I have ever been to I dropped off two laptops to get repaired they tried to hit me with the astronomical price of something like $800 to fix a four year old laptop wish I knew how much the parts cost it was just one part its always something extra with them an extra charge there are rip off and after my laptops both of them being in there for more than 30 days they said They confiscated them when I called to pick them up. Because I took longer than 30 days to pick it up I bring them to laptop to get repaired and they take them when I cant pay the $50 diagnostic fee right off hand, because I was in the middle of jobs, and I told them that, worst experience Ive never wrote a comment on anything on the web this is the first review that Ive ever done but they pissed me off bad enough to where I had too, and its also funny how I seen bad comments and reviews from other people and now theyre all suddenly gone.
