Mr. Wilhelm approached me in the Harbor Shops parking lot where my car would not start. He attempted to troubleshoot the issue and then provided me with a phone number for a towing company that would transport my vehicle to his shop. Immediately upon my arrival Mr. Wilhelm began working to diagnose the issue. He was able to get my vehicle started in minutes and continued to research what caused it not to start earlier. I was blown away by his generosity when he did not charge me for his time but apologized for not being able to correct the issue in the parking lot which would have saved me the towing company fee. As a single mother with zero knowledge of vehicle mechanics a situation like this is truly a nightmare. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with such a decent human being. Going forward, I will without a doubt entrust my vehicles maintenance and repairs to Wilhelm Automotive, Inc. in Havre de Grace, MD.

I took my vehicle to Wilhelms for a front end alignment and a coolant flush. When I returned that afternoon to pick it up, I noticed that the drivers side door had been sprung or that the hinges had been bent. Also the trim on the drivers side door was bulged out and coming off. Unfortunately Wilhelms would only say that they didnt do it. I know that my vehicle wasnt damaged when I dropped it off. Its going to cost me nearly $500 to repair.

I had two broken lug nut studs and needed them replaced at 3pm before driving 2.5 hours away. Wilhelm automotive worked to fit my repair into their schedule and get me back on the road. The customer service was courteous and knowledgeable. The mechanic kept me informed of the progress as the repair was being completed. The price was fair and consistent with the parts required and the amount of time spent doing the repair.

I definitely reccomend this shop. While on a road trip our car began shaking and we needed to stop to check it out. We pulled in to Whilhelm and they were able to test drive our van and find out what was wrong. Luckily it was just a loose tire and a relatively simple fix. We were able to be on our way in less than an hour. We are definitely grateful!

My daughters 2010 Ford Fusion broke down on Route 95 just outside Havre De Grace. We towed it to Wilhelm Automotive. Turned out the clutch had worn out. Wilhelm did a very through job with the repair, the car has been running great since the clutch was installed 18 months ago.

Based on a friends recommendation I brought my late 80s VW only to get turned away. Got the "dont have the tools" and "it doesnt have an OBD port to scan" reasons. Long gone are the days of troubleshooting and mechanical know-how.
