Finding an honest professional automotive mechanic that you trust is hard. When you do find them, you have got a keeper. Childress Service Center is a three generation family business that runs on hard work and integrity. I was referred to Childress by a friend because of their excellent reputation. My experience with them has been great and as long as they are in business and i am living in the area, i will always take my car for repairs and maintenance. I trust their knowledge and greatly appreciate their work ethics. Words of mouth and social media will go a long way promoting a tradesmans reputatiin. I am a Childresss fan for life. I took my car in because it was running hot. Childress checked it out and informed me that my car had a crack in the engine block. Furthermore, they also told me that they had done some research and that my car had an extended warranty because of a design defect. They encouraged me to take it back to the dealership and push the issue. I did what they said and now I am getting a new engine for free. Childress Service Center has a lifelong customer in me. They are honest, hard-working people that will look out for you and not try to get over on you! Thanks Childress!

When I first moved to the Fox Hill area of Hampton, I asked where to take my car, and was told Childress Service Center. I now return the favor. They may not be the cheapest, but they do great work at a good price, and best of all - they will tell you exactly what they can or cannot do, and give you good advice on what you should do - without trying to sell you anything you dont need. Keep em in business, friends!

Horrible customer service. The owner treated me terribly and hollered at me in front of a customer and argued with me about what his son told me about my car earlier and said he didnt even look underneath it. Then he barked that Id been there 3 times and asked me what I wanted? Wow! I barely got to say a word as he wouldnt let me talk. I was in tears by the time I left.

This auto shop is on point and know their stuff! They dont gouge their prices because they get so many clients and stay busy. Highly highly recommend them for any automotive needs. They also keep you very informed during the process of your maintenance and do their best to get you the cheapest cost. A+ in my book

Significantly overfill oil in my Brand New car (1L). Did not bother to check level after oil change. Theyve apologized and fixed it, but I drove for short period of time with overfill. Hope it did not cause any damage.
