Tried this "recommended installer" from Tire Rack for the first time. They mounted/balanced the new tires, did an alignment. First thing I noticed when I drove away was that the car was pulling to the right by at least 10 degrees. This is after an alignment, before which there was no pulling (I just did the alignment because theyre new tires). I took it back. No apologies, no nothing. Waited another hour. Finally got it, and yes, now the alignment is fine. Except, the interior of the car is filled with black smudges, and I get a vibration above 60mph and in corners. So they botched the balance. Now I have to waste more of my time tomorrow, and take it back so they can get it right, hopefully, on the second try. You are shop thats supposed to specialize in tires, how hard is it to get the basics right? What kind of shop are you if you cant balance a tire, or do a proper alignment? How hard is it not to turn a customers car interior into your old pickup truck? Seriously, its not rocket science. How this shop can be a recommended installer for Tire Rack is beyond me. You have created one unhappy customer out of a very basic service you could not get right.

I dont know what the other person who wrote the other review was talking about. I have been using this location for the last 5 years and have had nothing but the best service. If they tell me they found something that may not be right I ask them to show me exactly what they are talking about. They are more then glad to show me even if it means I have to walk under the vehicle thats up on a lift. Amanagement there has always been friendly and the same staff despite the company being bought out a couple of times in those 5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Scott and his crew since 2013. Had a nail in my tire this past Friday......no appointment, just showed up to see if I could get it repaired. Scott didnt have my tire in stock so the Asst Manager/Mark? drove to Waldorf, retrieved the tire from the St Charles store and returned to LaPlata and repaired my tire in just over an hour. These guys are the best, my BMW, wifes Grand Cherokee, my Tacoma pickup..... every vehicle that Ive owned in the past 13 years, Ive taken to Scott and his technicians.

Took my truck in to replace the starter. They pushed a bunch of other fixes including all new tires, and they said my wheel bearings were bad. I said no thanks and took it to another place I trust (but is an hours drive away.) I only replaced two tires and the starter, which I already knew was bad. They could find nothing wrong with the wheel bearings. The fixes Mr. Tire recommended would have run me around $1100. I took it elsewhere and got it running great again for $500.

Very poor customer service. Vehicle was brought in for routine service (nothing wrong) and they tried to push several other repairs which were not needed on vehicle (2007 model year). Hard to reach anyone at this business if you are in the store or calling, knowone cares about the customer here. Go elsewhere in La Plata but not Mr. Tie.

I went into this facility to have my truck looked at... Mechanic rapidly found the problem and fixed it. I was so impressed with the service provided, I opted to have a few other things done to my vehicle while there. I will be coming back to get Tires as well. Scott really helped me out that day... Thanks.

These people have provided the worst car care service I have ever received. I wold not let them change the oil in my lawn mower after the parts and service I received from them. I would like to add some context to this statement. I put the used oil from my car in my lawn mower. Go anywhere else.

I think this place is ok they take care of me whenever I come in and dont try to push any deala or stuff that doesnt need to be done on me.
