I want to place this company in the same category as Disneyland and Disney World....they made all my dreams and wishes come true; exceeding my expectations is a vast understatement. My husband and I recently built a new home and along with that was our desire to add a fence and deck immediately. We had our fence installed first by another company, unbeknownst about Fence and Deck Connections. (The fence is gorgeous though) However, we did not agree with that same companys price concerning the deck. It was just pure luck one day that my husband noticed a tiny sign with the Fence and Deck Connections logo. We decided to call them for a quote shortly thereafter. David was our sales representative and he was nothing short of timely (scary timely--he seemed to appear out the blue right at the precise minute), professional and uber knowledgeable. He was really efficient and had a great personality. I was hosting my homewarming in less than three weeks and asked if our deck could be completed in that timeframe. David said hed definitely put the request in the notes. I had all of my fingers and toes crossed as well, lol. Literally within the next two days, after we had discussed/agreed-upon the price and signed the contract, we recieved an email from the Production Manager, Carl, with copies of our drawings and deck plans---wow we hadnt even paid the deposit yet!!! It was so professional & I was very pleased. And that very same week the builders were at our home getting started!!! Wow, Again! I was so elated that the deck would indeed be completed before my homewarming!!! Yahhhhhhhh. :)) Even with the fluctuating weather the deck was finished in two days! There were a couple of glitches that my husband worked out with Carl, but overall I am a very, very, happy customer. Our deck looks amazing!!! A week and a half after completion my husband and I stained it with a Behr solid dark chocolate finish. Both the deck and stain color have recieved so many compliments! I was so privileged to have taken a Disney Customer Service level course a few years ago via the Disney Institute. The very first lesson is to go "above and beyond" to create happiness for all guests. This is exactly what Carl and his company created for us. He wanted us happy first and foremost at the end of the day---no other way to explain this; Carl simply wanted us satisfied. This is why Mr. Walt Disney has and will continue to have a withstanding phenomenal legacy....and I see the same lineage for Fence and Deck Connections. They exceeded my vision and were very respectful and courteous throughout the project. Keep up the stellar work!!!! You have just garnered a marketing agent from us forever! My husband and I are sending potential customers YOUR way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Approximately 2 years ago, I contracted Fence & Deck to install a vinyl privacy fence. The fence was actually made to look like wood. The design included 2 double-wide gates on each side of the house; 1 on the right (garage) side and 1 on the left (utility) side, and a single gate in the back center - to get to my undeveloped property around the creek. The installation went well. The fence was as ordered. Over the years, I often took advantage of Fence & Decks free gate adjustment policy. Last Spring, I noticed 1 of the gates was starting to fade. I called Fence & Deck and spoke with Bob. They sent someone out and agreed the gate was fading and would be replaced under warranty. This is when things "went south". 1. The gate replacement process took about 5 months to get the materials in and do it. 2, They ended up replacing both double-wide gates at the front of the house. 3. I original installation called for 1 double-wide (on the right side of the house) to open inward to the yard, and 1 double-wide (on the left side of the house) to open outward from the yard. The left side was installed to open outward however, the right gate was incorrectly installed to also open outward from the yard. I called Bob about this and told him I was so frustrated with the replacement that I was going to try to live with it. Because we were going into winter, I locked the gates and didnt use them. 4. Today, I went to use them. Not only was the right gate incorrectly mounted (to open outward) but the handles were incorrectly installed on the outside. So I have NOTHING to pull the gate closed when Im inside the yard. 5. The left gate that was correctly mounted to open outward from the yard, has NO HANDLES. So, again I have NOTHING to pull the gate closed when I"m inside the yard. And finally, I decided with all the money I spent on this fence, I should not be frustrated and I shouldnt have to "live with it" when it is their mistake. Fence & Deck was highly referred to me by a previous customer who contracted them for over $30,000 of work in a back yard screen room and privacy fence. The referral even contracted them to resurface the pavers in the room and was satisfied with their work. Their reviews here have also demonstrated a high regard. And with the initial installation, I was very satisfied. With the gate adjustment policy, I am also very satisfied. However, my experiences with warranty repair / replacement have left me wondering if I made a mistake. I left them eMail and hopefully we can come to a resolution. I will update this review when it is warranted. UPDATE: Fence & Deck restored the gates to my original specifications. I am happy we were able to get everything fixed. The dogs have not escaped since. Thanks, guys!

We would highly recommend hiring Fence and Deck Connection for your fence and deck project. We had them install a 12 x 14 Trex deck and black aluminum fence in November. From the first contact scheduling the appointment to the final inspection, we found F & D very professional with each interaction. Kevin who was our project consultant was very knowledgeable and gave us good practical suggestions. Kevin brought a lot of samples to our home but I highly recommend visiting their showroom so you can see the full-size material plus it’s just a neat place to visit. From the beginning to the end, they were always great with keeping us informed. We were never left guessing. We received three estimates and found F & D’s pricing to be in-line with everyone else but they had the best warranty. The installation went very smooth. The installers were respectful and cleaned up when they were done. Everything was done according to the schedule and the timeframe they provided. What really impressed us is when we had a question about the lights we had installed on the stairs. Kevin returned our call within minutes and a service tech stopped by in a couple of hours of our call to show us how to work the lights. Now that’s service! We love our deck and fence. Both turned out perfect and we’re very happy we chose Fence and Deck Connection for the project.

These guys are great. Everyone is really friendly and they really went above and beyond to help me get my project done. I was just ordering some parts for our chain link fence to keep a dog in. It wasnt even a huge order or anything and they still went out of their way to help make sure I was happy and taken care of. Knowing that I was in a bit of a hurry, they even called competitors to see if they could track down the parts for me even faster. One part of the order wasnt right, and they resolved the issue by bringing the correct part right to me--within the hour! I had a great experience, and I dont think Id hesitate to have them come in and do work for me. I feel confident that Id be taken care of beyond my expectations. Oh, also, Jeff, in Materials, is totally the man!
