My daughter and i had appointments for nail fills. We arrived 20 minutes early we were asked to sit and they would be with us. The guy set up for pedicures, and asked us to sit in the pedi chairs. We explained we only have appts for nail fills. They mixed something up on their schedule. Conversations ( not in English ) were being done between him and the ladies at the front. He was very kind, apologized for the mix up and someone would be with us. No problem. My daughter went first, it took 22 minutes, yes 22 minutes for her nail fill and color polish. I think the nail girl, Kim, was trying to set a record. When Kim finished my daughters nails, she jumps up and says, Yes Im done, my day is finally over. On to my abuse experience....i said ouch 6 times, i bleed in 2 different areas on my fingers. Which she never cleaned, she just kept going. I had to pull my hand from her, as my nail was burning. Her response, why didnt i say ouch. Say ouch!!! I have 6 times. I asked for the clear light pink polish they do with french manicures her response..did i see it on the shelf? Wow!!! I never got a name, she never mentioned it. She sat infront of the customer check out desk. My nails are very sharp, and the acrylic is wider then my real nails, overlaping my skin not nails. It looks like my nail beds are soooo wide. My daughters nail polish has sooo many air bubbles in them and only part of her nails actually have the acrylic on them. All because they wanted to get out early and THEY made a scheduling mistake on the schedule. WE WILL NEVER VISIT this place again. Not sure how they rate high. Service and quality are horrible!!!! Stay away. PS. the tools she used while i bled, she placed back in her bag to use on another customer.

I love Luxury nails. I have lived in Mount Airy my entire life and always enjoy spoiling myself and going to get my nails done. I have never been to a nail place which was as clean and well put like this one! I am always satisfied with my service, and when i am not, they always are willing to fix anything for my liking. Every single worker there is kind and hard working. Kimmy has always made me feel welcomed when i come in, and always makes my visit, her very best. I am a loyal customer to her and highly admire her work. Ive personally noticed all her passion and love that goes into her work. It is nice to see someone who cares so much about her customers and their opinions. No business is perfect, but they sure do come close when it comes to nail salons. Would never think to go anywhere else. Not only do i leave with great looking nails, i always leave with a smile on my face!

So I went to this salon with a friend, to say the least I was really unimpressed. There was a little miscommunication on what I was getting done and then they switched me off to someone who could do acrylics. I also got a pedicure done, the pedicure was ok not the best the tech kept messing up and definitely cut my cuticles a couple of times and she got nail polish all over my toes and kept having to clean up but still ended up with nail polish where it doesnt belong. Then when it came to me manicure I told her I liked her nail shape (she also had acrylics) and that I wanted it square, she made my nails way too long even though I asked her to make them shorter 2 times, then I had changed my mind a few times and you could tell she was getting really frustrated with me and but the end I wanted to cry and hated my nails I will not be returning and I DO NOT recommend them

Best place in Mt. Airy Maryland to be pampered... Mrs. Hannah and Mrs. Kimmy, thank you so much for what you do for us and how friendly you treat my entire family when we visit your facility.... XOXO :) Mrs. Pamela Stanley , Is this the jacket you speak of that was "sold"? (see picture) It has been hanging on the coat rack as you walk in the front door for about a week or so now. I reached for my wifes jacket and accidentally grabbed the one pictured.... by reading your comment, I can comfortably say that you do not know the ladies here, they are very professional in every way, and very fun to be around... You obviously took a friendly comment the wrong way. Learn to take a joke, life is too short.

Got an infection!!!! My first few visits were great. They seemed excellent, but after becoming a regular customer, I noticed that the service got sloppy if they were busy. One time the manicurist had to leave after my appointment. She rushed and painted the gel polish on my cuticles, so they chipped in two days. Another time they were very busy with walk in customers. I had made an appointment. They did a sloppy job on my nails. It appeared that they didnt clean the pedicure foot bath, but I assumed I just didnt see them do it. Sadly, I got an infection in all ten fingernails and toenails! Well never go back there. They do not appreciate loyal customers. They are not consistent in service.

This was my first visit to the salon. I had a gel color fill-in with Kimmy. When I arrived, I was attended to immediately. The salon is decorated nicely and feels serene and spa-like. The sound system is good and the jazz/easy listening music playing in the background was pleasant and relaxing. Kimmy did a quality job with my nails and shortened them as requested. I selected a vibrant red polish and she took the time to apply clear coat before applying the red to my nails. Most salons Ive been to skip that step. The warm, moist towel hand wrap was a nice final touch. She was finished in 45 minutes and the price was reasonable. I had a very pleasant experience and plan to return.

If I could give this place no stars I would... every time I have been able to go in as a walk in they have messed up my nails. Nails never last more than 1 week. The past two days in a row I have tried to go in as a walk in and theyve refused me telling me they are to busy, telling me to come back the next day...two days in a row and they have done that to me before as well. For the amount of walk ins they deny they need to take the walk ins welcome sign off the front door. NEVER GO THERE. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!

I am very happy with Luxury Nails & Spa. The shop is extremely clean (which Im always very impressed with). The service is friendly and inviting. I feel like I am treated very well and I am not just a number. I have been getting my nails done for 22 years and I have to say I am extremely impressed every time I go (started in February 2015 at this salon). I see Tony who is very good, but honestly, I have had friends see other technicians and also have been very happy. I would recommend to all!
