Ive been taking my car to Ray for a year or so now and I have never met a friendlier, more reliable mechanic. Rays a good man, he and his techs do excellent work, and his labor cost is a bit under the local average to boot. I bought a horrible car with so many issues a saner person would have blown it up in a cornfield somewhere, and Ray has worked with me every step of the way in figuring out the root cause of issues instead of just treating the symptoms, helping prioritize repairs so that the important stuff gets fixed right away and the stuff that can wait until my wallet can handle it doesnt get forgotten. Ive told several of my neighbors about him, and the fact that hes still the best kept secret in Rockville is almost criminal. The only guidance I would give is that if its not a welp cars dead now situation, call ahead and plan out the best time to bring it in. Itll result in faster service for you (and thats a good rule of thumb for any auto mechanic, honestly). He has a passion for cars, a fanatical devotion to making his customers happy, and a million-dollar smile that you cant help but share. If you live in the NE DC burbs, and you take your car anywhere else but Rays, youre doing it wrong.
