Moved 9 days ago with Glamour Moving. Over the phone they were very nice and accommodating. The four movers that came to my home were very nice and polite. Thats where all the nice ended. My stainless steel French door refrigerator/ freezer ended up having to long creases down the front door and little indents on the freezer door, plus the mechanism for the ice maker was broken off. Beware of their insurance, all I received for the damage to my stainless steel refrigerator is $50. I told the movers that all the doors had to be taking off of the refrigerator to fit through the door, they said that they have tricks on getting it out of the door. I take it the trick is damaging the property. Then a few days later, was looking for my fiances brand new drill to hang curtain rods, his brand new drill, two batteries, and his container of drill bits and tips are nowhere to be found. Looked thru the old house and double check our new home for those items. They were not at either one of my properties, so I called their office to see if the guys maybe and accidentally put them on their truck. And of course the four Movers have no clue where these items are. But its a little odd to me that a complete drill set with 2 batteries and drill bits and tips are missing from my garage when they were in the garage alone putting my damaged refrigerator freezer together again. Of course the office manager ask the guys if they seen them... Of course they did not see them, and now I have to file a police report. Didnt realize when I hired this moving company that I had to police their workers to make sure nothing was stolen. To say that Im a very dissatisfied customer and feel like I was ripped off, that is an understatement. So beware when you hire this company to watch all workers coming and going out of your home. I will not be using them again nor will I be recommending them to anybody. Extremely dissatisfied with theyre careless attitude and brush off after they are paid.

My company work predominantly in the moving and storage industry as well as the property and casualty industry. Use them mainly for the fire and water losses. We have them make pickups of both water and fire damaged furniture for my furniture refinishing business. They also do the delivery of the refinished and restored pieces. They are without a doubt the best moving company Ive ever seen and I see many both local and national. Ask for "Gator" and his crew. Nicest guy you will ever meet and extremely professional. Be sure to understand your valuation options (some refer to this as insurance). It is up to you to take this additional coverage as sometimes things happen.

We have worked with Glamour to move 3 times. The guys are great to work with and good at what they do. The estimates need some work though. With all 3 of our moves, the final cost was at least double what the estimate was. I have been told this is a tactic for the owner to beat other companies on pricing. I would suggest negotiating for a set price or you can expect to pay double at the end of the day.

I cant say enough about how awesome our crew was! We moved nearly 16,000 lbs out of state. They worked so hard, were very careful with my most precious furniture, very polite and professional. We had three littles while they were loading and unloading some and they werent even phased by them. Thank you to everyone! Would recommend them over any other company, any day.
