I found it incredibly helpful to have the PODS team drop off the container wherever I needed, pick it up after packing, and then store it at their facility until I scheduled another drop off location at my new place. The men who operate the container trucks are incredibly nice and very helpful. I didnt appreciate how they quoted me one initial price and then somehow along the way I was always charged just a little bit more. However, TERRIBLE costumer service at the Richmond office as well as with corporate. After I sent my container back and paid all my final fees, the Richmond PODS office continuously tried to re-charge me for things that had already cleared my account. I had to contact their office twice as well as call corporate, all in one day and they STILL hadnt figured out the problem because the next morning they were still trying to auto-draft over $200 from my bank account. When I called corporate they were less than helpful and said that all billing/payment issues should be handled through their local offices, and they wouldnt even be able to issue me a refund if the funds were automatically withdrawn by mistake. Needless to say, I will never be using their services again no matter how convenient it was.

Its taken almost a year for us to stage our old house, sell it, figure out a new place to move. What a stressful time. Except for our experience with Pods. Every time weve called them, asking for a last-second favor, whether to get into one of our Pods, or to change a pickup/dropoff time and date, they have been very pleasant and accomodating. Totally will recommend them to all our Richmond friends. You might have to pay a bit more, but in our opinion, its worth the extra amount. We all know how stressful it is to relocate, so its wonderful to work with a group that helps decrease that stress.

Worst customer service ever. They delivered my 1st POD fine, a week later I had another one delivered. The driver did not bring any blocks to level the POD so he left it tilted in the street. I called customer service to have it corrected. They refused to correct the problem that they created unless I gave them another $50.00. Dialo- the supervisor refused to allow me to speak with his boss. I will never use these people again. They also charged me for a lock I did not receive. Absolutely pitiful.

We ordered a POD to help alleviate the stress of moving all at once. Once delivered, we moved a little at a time. There was a little hiccup with scheduling the pick up, but the owner got it taken care of for me. They delivered it to our new address perfectly. Its worth the price to be able use a POD. It only took us two hours to load our truck since most of our belongings were in the POD. Moving is stressful and the POD helped.

We were so please with our PODS experience. The staff could not have been more helpful. When the PODS were delivered, I gentleman who delivered it would not leave until we were able to open the door. The contents had shifed and he was actually laying on the street to try to get his arm up into the POD to open the door. We could not have been more happy with PODS. We highly recommend them!

The entire experience was simple (everything was done online including changes in the initial schedule) and went smoothly. The company was prompt on delivery and pick-up and the unit was in good condition. I would use the service again without hesitation.

I would recommend Pods to anyone who is moving basically because of the convenience factor. They deliver the Storage unit and when you are ready they simply pick it up and deliver it to the next destination. It is a worry free experience. Thank you PODS.

Professional and flexible. I would use them again. One small improvement could be the latch mechanism on the POD itself. Seems like it could be better designed.
