Moved into the area a short while ago and the first salon I tried did not work out well on many levels. Selected Nu Yu because it is an Aveda salon and I knew it would be, at the very least, clean with disposable soaking tubs. Gave it a chance and glad that I did. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Niki and Tiffany do great mani/pedi and I love our conversations - a little socializing never hurts:)) No pain, no red cuticles and polish looks beautiful - whether we are talking gels or regular polish. I am in the salon for these services 3x per month and I always see the same people. Something is being done right, not just for me, but for them as well. So happy I found them!

I have been going to this salon for 4 years and recommend it highly. When I went the first time, Debbie (my stylist) made great suggestions about my hair color, toning down the brassy orange I hadnt even noticed until she fixed it. Im always happy with my haircuts, which she often spends a lot of time on after she dries my hair, so that the style is sure to work after I leave the salon and style it myself. All the stylists have the same careful, thoughtful approach, and are friendly and fun. On top of liking my hair, I enjoy the time I spend in the shop. Definitely a great choice!
