UNPROFESSIONAL! POOR QUALITY HAIR CUTS AND SERVICE! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! If you need a hair cut, dont go to this hole in the wall. The town of Barre needs a professional hair salon for both male/female customers. Changes Family Hair Care is not it. Never been a fan of this place due to the fact the Mikes daughter is an obese lazy slob that belly bucks you the entire time shes cutting your hair! She is rude to customers, makes them wait long after their scheduled appointments while she does absolutely nothing but yap with her co-workers. When she finally does take you, its really disgusting the way she has to rub her layers of belly flab all over you just to reach your head! Think of it as a poor quality hair cut and flab massage. Additionally, she constantly slurps down a 5gallon bucket of soda and then breaks for the bathroom every 5 minutes while cutting your hair. I feel bad for the owner, shes an embarrassment to his business. She has zero professional mannerisms what so-ever. Not to sound mean but perhaps if she stopped stuffing the food in her face and lost a ton or two, she wouldnt be so lazy and her quality of work would vastly increase Honestly, I would not let this place cut my dogs hair. Very unsatisfied customer, never will go there again. They are just too unprofessional.

PROFESSIONAL, FUN, QUALITY HAIR CARE and GREAT SERVICE!! Love, Love, Love Changes because of the great haircuts, colors, perms I get there. But also because of the people who work there, they are like family. I have been going there for 28 years and always feel like a million bucks after I leave. I have recommended Changes to a bunch of friends over the years and they have been pleased with their service. I think its horrible that some ignorant, angry guy named Bary Brenen got to post such lies and cruelty to another persons character. I had a young woman go to see Kelsey last year to fix the damage her relatives had caused to her hair and Kelsey was more than kind to this woman and did a Fantastic job with her hair! The woman gained so much self confidence because of the great work Kelsey did and continued to see her again and again. I just got my hair done by Mike today and am pleased again and cant say enough good things about his business! Thank you Changes!

I have been to many salons and boutiques in my life. A week or two ago I decided to give Changes family Hair Care a chance. I was greeted like I was a queen. I sat in the chair and we discussed colors to match what I had been doing. Michael hit the nail on the head with the color. He is not only professional but quick. The shoppe was extremely clean and quite spacious. The prices were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend anyone to go to this Salon. I left their feeling so beautiful. Thank you Michael for making me feel good again! The people who published bad reviews are delusional in posting such ridiculous comments! This business caters to the public in the utmost professional manner and it you left negative comments, shame on you!

Horrible service! I called to ask how late they were open. With 45 minutes before close and it only being an 8 minute drive, I thought I was all set. I get there and they tell me that nobody has the time to cut my hair. Two of the stylists, including the owner, were already packed up and ready to walk out the door half an hour before closing. Walk-Ins welcome? Really? Not even close. Did it occur to the owner when I spoke to him on the phone to tell me they didnt have time? Of course not! Did it occur to anyone that it takes a whopping 10 minutes to cut a mans hair? Nope. Congratulations on permanently losing yourself a customer.

Changes is a great place you feel like family when you go in. Some people have nothing better to do then to be pieces of crap. If you dont like the service then say service was bad and MOVE ON! We are adults! Not in high school! Your the one making yourself look bad. This is all to the person badmouthing someone because of weight issues. Maybe you should take the stick out of your ass. Anyways! Changes is amazing! I have been going to changes for almost ten years and I still go up to them even though I live in Connecticut now. THATS HOW GOOD THEY ALL ARE! Screw anyone that thinks otherwise! I love you guys at changes!

I have been coming to this salon for 26 years, they are like family. They make you feel right at home. Mike always gives me the exact haircut I ask of him, and I get more compliments each time. I would highly recommend changes. They take their time and the outcome is always awesome! ❤️❤️❤️

I have been going to Mike for 25 years. I grew up in Barre but have since lived in Chicago, Orlando, Detroit and Baltimore. I always come back to have Mike cut my hair. I dont trust anyone else. He is fantastic. He always does a great job. Thank you Mike!

They are amazing and make you feel wanted and beautiful. I moved and drive 1.5 hours to get my hair done. My whole family goes from my mom to my all my nieces. Fully without reserve recommend.
