Id give it a zero if I could. Just went here for a "free consultation". Met with a guy who wasnt the actual doctor. The guy started pushing propecia on me before even asking for my medical history or even looking at the affected areas on my scalp. I told him I wanted to be screened for possible hairloss causes. He was having none of it. He continued to push propecia and pretended like its side effects were "extremely rare" and "totally reversible". I brought up the fact that studies have shown cases where the side effects didnt reverse over time. He dismissed my concerns with an attitude. Then he said he used propecia, got the side effects, and had to stop taking it but that he swears all the side effects went away. So he wanted me to believe that there was an extremely low chance Id get the side effects, while also telling me that he himself got the side effects. Are you kidding me? How is that going to reassure me that I wont grow breasts and get erectile dysfunction? As I was leaving, I asked if he wanted me to fill out the rest of my medical paperwork as I hasnt listed any medications or my medical conditions yet. He told me it was "no big deal" and to call him for an appointment when I was ready to do propecia. This place is entirely unprofessional. The fact that they wanted to run zero tests or even take a look at my scalp before throwing a dangerous drug at me makes me think theyre just shilling for propecia.

DiStefano Hair restoration set realistic expectations right from the start. They told me what to expect based on my degree of hair loss, and made sure all my questions were answered. I decided to go for an age-appropriate hairline. We looked at photos from about 10 years back, and they dialed back the clock for me! Dr. DiStefano is really an artist, and I couldnt be happier with the results. In addition, the technicians are extremely capable, and quite personable. They made me feel very comfortable and performed excellent work as well. I told my wife it was actually relaxing to get away for a day, lie on a massage table, watch movies and get treated to a nice lunch while my appearance was being transformed!

Distafano Hair Restoration Center is by far the best in New England. I went to a well known competitor first and got horrible results. Distafano corrected what was done and gave me a full natural looking hairline! I am 100% satisfied with the results. Also the staff was courteous and warm and made you feel relaxed. Steven Matteo was my consultant and made me feel confident that Distefano is the right choice for my hair-loss concerns...he was spot on!
