I love how they keep placing ads saying "NO COMMITMENT" only $10 per month! Then you find out that theres a start-up fee of $39.00 right off the bat! Then in a few months you then pay an "Annual Membership Fee of $39.00 plus applicable taxes" , which will be billed on or shortly after June 1st. Membership. And your membership is ONLY good at this location. Next they say... "This offer requires a 12 month commitment"! Excuse me, but an offer requiring a a 12 month commitment, and a need to pay $39.00 annual membership down the road ARE BOTH COMMITMENTS!!! Thats false advertising folks!!! Thats a lot more then supposedly only the $5 down, $10 a month ads that you see on TV, and popping up Facebook and other various websites! And you know what, the MASSACHUSETTS STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL OFFICE agrees this is plain wrong! But in order for them to take action they need to hear from you , and to have more people complaining to start a legal action!!! If enough people complain to the AG, then they will go after them and put a stop to this BS! Also the AGs office agrees, that you should be able to pay by using other forms of payment, such as CASH and not have to render PF access to your checking account to pull money whenever the feel like it! This is truly a "bait and switch" guys! When you say/advertise that theres "NO COMMITMENT", that should be it! Instead PF is lying and deceiving the public because theres several commitments!

planet fitness in billerica is not only dirty but also dirty dealers. first they fire one of the best desk attendants who not only took the time to remember the regulars names but also their numbers (they have the right to terminate employment and i did not hold it against them). second after demanding credit cards when you sign up they then tell you that form of payment is unacceptable. third when i started going there was a cleaning crew keeping the place clean now they just seem to have given up. fourth thing is the equipment is falling apart and they can care less there are machines in there that have been busted for over a year as well as missing/ripped pads on most pieces of equipment. fifth when i signed up you told me you were a 24/7 location then with little notice changed your services. sixth you stink i know it is a gym but i smells like many things crawled into your gym and died. seventh you do not enforce any of your rules unless they benefit themselves. lastly they are snakes who are just there to steal your money when you try to cancel they put ridiculous restrictions on it then treat you like a villan. way to go Planet Fitness - Billerica, MA with your horrible customer service and poor maintenance!

2.0 star rating 8/15/2016 OK for price. Maintenance not perfect, well, slow to take care of problems. But my main gripe recently is that they leave the mop pail with dirty water, mops, and other cleaning equipment beside the front desk near the key board. Its ugly and not welcoming. I mentioned it to the manager today and she said that she has heard that complaint before and has told the staff to put it away and cant help it if they dont do it. Uh, shes the manager. If she doesnt know how to manage her staff then maybe there needs to be another manager. She also said they leave it out overnight with dirty water so the "girl" who comes in the morning can use it to mop because she cant go into the mens room to retrieve it. That is wrong in so many ways. They could put it in the ladies room. They could put it in the always empty tanning rooms. They could put it in the room by the cafe area. They could put it in the closet by the stretching area.... Giving feedback to PF is very difficult. I cant figure out how to contact the owner or the corporate offices.

Horrible and terrible customer service. And all be very much aware of their fine prints that they write up in their so called contract that they mention no liability and no contract and bla bla... if you are leaving town... or you have to cancel your membership... you have to make sure to show up and cancel it in person or mail your signature to them and and and... if your mail does not go to them before their billing cycle they freaking keep billing you.... I have never come across such horrific requirement for cancellation. I have been member of many clubs many other associations but never had any issues with cancellation like this. Very very inconvenient.

Recently reorganized the facility to accommodate demand for more free weight benches and more of the machine bench presses. Mens locker room could be better kept, but overall plenty of machines, and even during their busiest times after work, I am always able to get my full workout in. For 10 a month, its worth it. Even with the 40 down start up fee, its still far better than Pro fitness plus down the road.

What a great gym! The staff are friendly and Jackie, the trainer, setup a really good program for me to follow. Very clean and theyre always cleaning "something". Id like to hire them to come clean my house! I signed up for the Black Card membership so that I could get the unlimited tanning and be ready for the beaches this summer. Being able to bring a guest for free wasnt a bad incentive either!

This is one of the best fitness clubs out there. As far as affordability is concerned and cleanliness, this is it. Planet Fitness/Billerica went thru a massive makeover, is alot bigger and has more equipment to use. The staff is very friendly too. Who ever has had a problem with them in the past, take another look.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, alot of epuipment to choose from. Recently updated the end of 2016, added a PF 360 area and 2 water massage beds. You have to be a black card member to utilize the extra services like tanning, massage beds and massage chairs.

Waited 20-30 minutes at the front desk to go tanning and no one showed up. Why pay $20/month when you cant even use all the equipment advertised because of poor customer service? ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS.

Been a member for over a month and go every day. Good variety of equipment. Even when busy, seldom a wait for equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Been to other PFs and this one is good.

This pf is poorly run. Ive seen the same two arc trainer machines broken for over two months... the only second star is due to the fact membership is so cheap... and thats a corporate price!

I had to cancel my membership there for two reasons. 1) The place was packed enough when I went there, so much that I never completed my workouts, and 2) the mens locker room was gross.

I will never enter this facility. I have heard terrible things from a friend about the staff being extremely judgmental and rude.
