If you have a deadline DO NOT use them. They will not get your item/documents to the recipient on time. Our office called them around 11am to get a package from Worcester to Boston. When we called we confirmed it would be delivered before the 2pm deadline. They guaranteed there they could do it. That said they would be at our office at noon. They arrived st 12:03. The driver, Gerald Capone, said it would arrive at 1:15. At 2:20, 20 minutes after the deadline, we received a call saying that they arrived at 2:08 and the receiver refused the documents as they were late. Gerald was told to try to get them to accept the documents. When questioned as to why it took so long to get to Boston, the staffs response was that the "driver took a long way there." What? Around 3pm the office staff calling stating the receipting still would not accept the package and what did they want me to do with the package. They could not understand why I was upset and simply said they could refund my money. Really? Staff then said that they never guaranteed a delivery by a set time. When questioned as to why it took so long to deliver the package the response was silence. At no time did they call saying the courier was stuck in traffic, there was an accident or even we just might not make it in time. When we received the package back they were stamped by the recipient with a time stamp of 2:13, not the 2:08 they said they delivered it. Complete lack of professionalism, lack of responsibility and disregard for their clients. All I can say is run from this vendor.

Price was a little high... But well Worth It! They charged us about $58.00 from Boston to Natick. This included a 15 minute pickup from point of order and Direct delivery to a difficult to find address in Natick. In real-time we received an email notification upon delivery. This we found to be invaluable. In fact, from the moment we called, they picked up and delivered in 52 minutes. They do have a fuel surcharge which is understandable. Today, I will have our Office Manager set up an account with Boston Messenger & Couriers, Inc - If I understand correctly, they do have two brands of Economy service, we needed our shipment delivered as quickly as possible so the price didnt matter and we selected their Direct Service. The Customer Care Representative I was dealing with mentioned that when we order online, we get a 15 to 20 percent discount. Weve needed a more reliable courier for a longtime and I think we just found them. Breakaway is slow to pick up, even when we are paying a premium for rush service. Anyway, I thought I should share this incredibly positive experience. I found them when searching "Boston Courier Service" in Google, they were right at the top of the results. Most likely paid advertising. Regardless, for our Law Firm, along with our need for dependable time sensitive same day delivery, we choose Boston Messenger & Couriers, Inc

I called last minute from western Massachusetts to have medical records picked up from a bus terminal in Boston and sent to a nearby medical specialist for immediate review. Adam was incredibly accommodating and made arrangements with the bus terminal to ensure timely pickup and delivery. It all went without a hitch and the medical records were delivered more than an hour early - - and at a fraction of what either Federal Express or UPS was going to charge for same day delivery across state. Very pleased with the experience.
