As a journalist, I travel a lot and need to have reliable dry cleaning services. Thanks to Imperial Cleaners, Im now off to an out of town 4 day work conference without a full suit. This was the first and last time I will be using Imperial Cleaners. I dropped my suit off yesterday under the explicitly stated mutual understanding that the clothing would be ready for pick up this morning. When I arrived, the woman working the counter denied that she had made a mistake, and instead gave me the excuse that "Our truck just picked up the items an hour ago. Wont be ready to pick up until 5pm. Oh well." Imperial made no effort to retrieve my clothing or correct their mistake, and instead blamed me for holding them to their word. Their staff was hostile and rude, but more than willing to take my money, and if I want my clothes back I will have to pay them when I return in a week for the job they failed to perform. Oh, and FYI, there is limited/no parking at Imperial Cleaners. The street and sidewalk out front are at a busy intersection currently under construction and partially closed off.
