The worst haircut experience I had in my whole entire existence. I just wanted a simple fade, nothing crazy, nothing fancy. The person who cut my hair goes by the name of Taum and I asked for the usual which is a #1 on the side, #4 on top, back squared, sides pointed. Taum says no problem, very easy was his exact words basically assuring me he knows what hes doing. Needless to say, it didnt look right and so he suggested to go down to a #3, I agreed... blended everything with a #2. Now this is taking a longer than expected because throughout my whole haircut, he would stop and ask "is this what you want?" I asked for a fade and again he told me nooo problem very easy. If it was in fact sooo easy as Taum had said, I couldnt understand why he kept asking if its what I want. I told him what I wanted, all he had to do was do it! He puts a mirror to the back of my head, BIG MISTAKE! I dont know what the hell his idea was of a fade, what I had on my head clearly wasnt it! I had to direct him on how I wanted it to look, I was already pissed, not how I wanted my day to end. Then after hes done, he asks me again if its what I want. I say its OK, he proceeded to attempt to do my sideburns pointed. Needless to say he messed that up, it came out uneven and most definitely not pointed how I would have liked and he rips off the cover, hair is now all over me, didnt even say he was done. I had to ask if he was done, he says yes, told him no he wasnt because he didnt even line up the front of my head. He puts the cover back on, does the front, finishes, I didnt like it. I now asked if he was done, he says yes, I checked out, gave him $10.00 cash because thats just me being kind after this now botched haircut, definitely nooo tip, I ran out that place sooo fast, didnt even stay for the receipt but not before I heard Taum chuckle in what I would assume would be his disbelief for me not tipping him or perhaps he found my first time experience amusing...maybe both. I did leave just as I came in too, WITH my hat ON. Did I mention how Im covered in hair???Sooo not only did I pay for a bad experience, I paid for a dirty one too. Maybe thats why the haircuts are so cheap...because its garbage! My first time and most certainly the last time I ever get my hair cut at great clips. The name should def be changed because there was nothing great about this unfortunate ordeal. I have pictures I took juuust for proof because it certainly isnt pretty. Now I have to spend more money to attempt to have my hair fixed, thanks great clips!!!

An Asian stylist cut off all my sons hair and angrily insisted I told him to and had poor customer service skills. My son was wailing in a salon full of people. Another stylist, Brenda, came to the rescue and trimmed it in a way that convinced my son it was cool to have a buzz cut. Her voice was calm and reassuring so it immediately calmed my child down. We have since been back quite a few times: My son, my daughter, and my husband. For the price, they all get great haircuts and prompt, good service. Alicia is a stylist who has been patient and has taken the time to speak to my very particular son as she cut his hair to ensure he likes what shes doing. He only wants her to cut his hair now. Five stars to the staff for great service recovery!

As a former stylish, if someone want to apply and work here. If you work there full-time, they dont give you 40 hours. They will give you around 30 hours or less. You will work 4 to 5 hours a day. On top of that, the tip is really suck there. You will get 1 or 2 dollars almost every day. I worked there . I cut 20 haircut and I only make 40 to 45 dollars. In different store, I can make a 100 dollars. My advice is not to work here unless you have to. The owner is very cheap. Dont trust him . Everything he promise you, make sure you have it write it down on the paper.

Lately the experience of having haitcut in great clips, norwood location has been quite terrible. Invariable any stylist I meet here is very rude and seem to do me a favor by cutting my hair. One of them was quite dismissive of my suggestion and other stylist let another client check in before me inspite of me waiting there before him. I guess knowing a stylist beforehand takes you an extra mile here.

Not sure this is the place for employees to post their dissatisfaction but glad I ignored that review. I took my very picky tennaged son today and I cant say enough about his whole experience. Fast, friendly and Pablo was super helpful. We made sure his tip reflected our satisfaction.

Ive been a customer at Great Clips for about a year now. And every single time Im there -- the wait is short, the stylists are courteous and I come out with a good haircut.
