Great whale experience. We went for a Saturday trip, their first trip of the season in May. The trip out to the whale grounds was...boring...about an hour and fifteen minutes or more. There isnt much to see, but at least the sun was out and it was only sweater weather. The boat has indoor seats, some with tables, and lots of outdoor seats. They have on the boat a snack bar and also some hot foods as well as drinks including beers and wine. Prices were not expensive at all. Our trip wasnt too crowded, but I expect in the full swing of summer tourist season it might be. Once we arrived into the areas for whales to be hunting up their prey, all hands were set to lookout for spouting or breaching whales. It took a while but finally we saw some, and the boat captain motored us nearer to them. He was quite adept at keeping us on the whales for a good view at a safe distance. For about 45 minutes to an hour, we spotted and observed a few different specie of whales, and also some dolphins. In particular we tracked a hunting pair of humpbacks for some time. After this, we headed for port. The office has a gift shop and a small museum type exhibit with a whale skeleton and some info about whales. They have just a single bathroom, so expect to wait in line for that before you embark on the boat. (The boat does have four "heads" or bathrooms aboard, but they are very small and cramped) There is metered parking outside the building, but they also have "block parking" where you can park really close together, read "nobody leaves until everybody leaves" close parking. Wife and kids had to leave the vehicle before I parked because they wouldnt have been able to get out. All told though, parking was free, so Im happy with that. Bring: water/snacks, polarized sunglasses (a must on the water), sunscreen At the end of the day, I can say we had a great time.

My 15yr old grandson and I went on Whale watch on July 12th at 2pm. It was a lovely boat ride to the area where we first spotted a mom & calf, it was amazing to see the mom and calf together. They were very close to the boat & I got fantastic video of them swimming underneath the boat then rising on top of ocean!! I have watched the video so many times, it is beautiful to see these magnificent creatures in there natural habitat. The staff were extremely nice as well as professional and had so much knowledge of many of the whales we seen. It was beyond my expectations and I reccomend Captain Bills Whale watch to anyone thinking of a trip. Also in the office they have a Skeloton of a whale that washed up on shore few yrs back, my grandson & I were very thankful to see this up close. Office staff were very helpful and friendly also. I cant wait to go again, and this will be for sure one of my summer trips from now on. Fantastic day on ocean with these magnificent whales.

We were supposed to go on the whale watch the original booking but due to a storm coming in they had to cancel the whale watch, which is understandable so the second time we tried to book the whale watch we could not use Groupon because it was short notice.. The first time it was cancelled they should have taken down everybodys name so they could have first dibs to the next time the boat was going out regardless if you use a Groupon or not.. Now on a third attempt to get on the boat to go see whales as we were driving up there we get a call saying the boat will not be going out again today so this is our third attempt trying to go on this boat to see whales.. mind you this trip was already paid from the first attempt of trying to get on this boat to go see whales... Now we have to contact Groupon to see if we can get our money back!!! We will never again try to book a whale watch through this company

What a unique experience! "This is cool" - quote from teenager who was at first just interested in the ride so we wouldnt be doing so much walking that day. Bring a jacket and long pants. It does get chilly once the boat starts going. An inexpensive set of binoculars might also be nice if you arent preoccupied with taking picture. All of the crew and office staff were very friendly, and you could sense their enthusiasm and delight in seeing and identifying the whales right along with you. I would say its a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but I would def. hope to go on a watch again! ^_^ Check out their free whale exhibit; they have an entire whale skeleton! Prob best to go before to learn and be a little more prepared for the watch, but good for after also. Thanks for a fun watch!

We were promised whales and our captain was determined to deliver! It wasnt the best day for whale watching and even after quite a while sailing, we had yet to spot a whale. Nonetheless, the captain knew where to go to find whales and when we finally found whales, it was quite a sight indeed! Upon reaching the whales, we had a very knowledgeable guide to teach us about the whales. The guide knew the whales well and even knew the whales by name! This is a great trip for all ages and I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience on a nice boat. Even pretty full it didnt seem crowded. Saw several whales after many dives each. Naturalists on board to talk about whales and answer questions. Sit on the top deck, sip a cold beer and enjoy the show. I would do this again and even my teenaged son was entertained and gave it high praise. Up until this vacation activity the best he had rated anything was "wasnt too bad".

What an awesome experience! We saw 3 mother whales with calves and a whale that did a breach. The tour was over 4 hours with commentaries on the whales , their life styles , habits, migrations , etc. We had a full boat but had plenty of room to see the whales as they did come close to the boat. I strongly recommend this whale watching experience!! Bring a jacket as it was a little chilly.

Had a very good whale watching trip. The crew were very nice and knowledgeable, and did a great job of promoting wildlife conservation. The boat was full, but not overcrowded. They ended up extending the trip by about an hour to go find more whales. For some, that was great. For others, it may have cut into their other plans for the day.

My 13yr old daughter and I went for the first time and Loved it!! Staff on the ship were very nice and well informed. We went on the 9am trip. With the first sighting we were pretty excited, although the whale was pretty far off. It took about 2hrs before the first sighting. The

We had a wonderful time aboard their ship. They were professional and friendly. Spent a lot of time with whales. Ship is not overcrowded so everyone can have their space watching whales. Staff was very kid friendly. Loved it and will go with them again.

Saw about 8 whales, and dolphins coming back to the harbor! Apparently September is still a good time for whale watching. Tour is almost 4 hours with commentaries on whales, their hunting methods, migrations and the preservation efforts. Recommended!
