I have been going to Plains for almost 10 years. My first experience was when I recently went to a chain repair shop to fix my brakes. I noticed a small leak under my car, and my neighbor suggested going to Plains. I went to plains and the owner noticed that a piece that went back into my car was the wrong make. The guy at plains could have charged me for his labor and fee, but he did the honest thing and told me to go back to the chain store and get the items properly fixed so I would not have any more leaks. Since then, I will not take my car anywhere else. Honesty goes a long way for me.

Plains is a straightforward, honest and competent shop. Ive been going here for 15 years, and during that time theyve worked on my Taurus, Camry, Sienna, Matrix, and Journey. You know how sometimes youre afraid to bring your car to the shop because somehow the mechanics always find a couple other things wrong and it ends up costing a few hundred dollars more? Not these guys. They dont do a hard sell. If your brakes have 6 months left, Steve tells you straight out and let you decide to do it now or save some money and come back later.

Simply put, this is hands down the best mechanic that there is. Honest and straightforward, Steve goes out of his way as a matter of course to make sure you get what you need and at a fair price. The whole crew over at Plains has been taking great care of us for nearly ten years. My wife has bought two cars from Steve and he always stands behind them. Finding a mechanic you can trust is no easy thing, I cant speak highly enough about the team at Plains! Keep up the great work!

I have been servicing my vehicles at Plains Automotive for over 10 years. They have always provided me with detailed information about any issue I have brought to them. Never have they performed any work that wasnt needed or requested. Their prices are competitive with any other area shops...and much less expensive than area dealers.
