Its a shame that this turned out to be a "my word against his word" argument, but I didnt go for the cheaper alternative. Which would have been to not repair it. I looked online about Bmw drive shafts while work order was being written up and inquired with them if I had to get a new drive shaft. She said I didnt and it was something one of their techs friend had done on his car and went well. This is more of a trust that the repair shop is competent in the type of repair you need. In my case they where not, but in yours they maybe. The choice is up to you. People are friendly and attentive but more than that is needed to fix your car. To be fair, my repair was a major repair on a older BMW model car. They may be more competent with routine repairs and middle of the line cars. They do offer loaner cars but they are old cars and not rental quality. My problem was hard to diagnose and they outsourced part of the repair. The whole event took two weeks. Not including the holiday breaks. In my opinion they misdiagnosed the problem and the outsourced repair was faulty as well. This lead to the outsource shop having to get a replacement refurbished driveshaft to replace the one they tried to refurbish. In the end, my car still has the same problem and what they fixed probably lessened the problem by about 10%. Paid 1k for repairs that didnt fix the main problem and dont feel my car drives as well as it did before I brought it in. When they realized the probable cause of the main problem, they should have offered to fix it at no additional cost or at a reduced cost. They did however refund me the cost of the tire balancing because, after the initial repair, they thought it was contributing to the problem. Which it didnt. I go to the dealer 90% of the time for repairs. One of the times I wished I had.

Will definitely use again. My water pump went bad, and I needed a close repair shop. This is a friendly shop. I told them what needed to be done, they confirmed this and set about working. I dropped my car off at 2 pm on a Friday and got it back at 9:30 am Saturday! I checked estimates out for the work at other shops and they seemed to be on-par with the going rate. For the service the price was competitive. Local dealership needed a days notice to even source the part. Why go to a big dealership where you are customer number 534 and wait for a part, when you can support a local, family owned service center with fast turnaround and fair pricing? These guys are shysters. They wanted to charge me over $600 for front brake pads and rotors for my 2015 Ram 3500. They told me that rotors cost $140 each (actual price at parts store: $60) and that brake pads were over $100 (actual price at parts store for heavy duty brake pads: $60). I know mechanics mark up parts prices as a practice, but double? Sorry, not paying over $600 for $180 worth of parts and two hours of labor. They also said I needed the back calipers greased and offered to do it for $115. Ridiculous. Save your money. The area is teeming with mechanics that will give you better prices.

It is quite obvious that this shop does not care what the customer needs are. From my interaction with this shop, especially the front desk girl, it seems that all she cares is her cell phone and making money off her customers. They changed two light bulbs (two break lights) for me. The lights cost $6 total and she charged me $45 dollars for the 10 minutes labor that took the technician to change the light bulb. What will you call that? I highly suggest that any new customer in the area be alerted about such rip-off.

Ive been an A-Tech customer for 5+ years. They have done the difficult jobs, like clutch replacements, to work that other shops would have shied away from, (repaired the piston on a convertible top) to brakes and lots of other work that I needed repaired. I have always been happy with the quality of work, professionalism, fairness in pricing and accuracy of when it would be done. Top notch local business, with the owners right on site and very helpful and responsive. A+ shop!

A good garage. Took me in on very short notice to fix a broken sway bar, mid road trip. AAA referred me. Service was efficient and the price was fair. The repair did not take long so I worked in the lounge with wifi, fresh coffee, clean bathroom and cool sport car chairs. I decided to get an oil change while I was there. If I lived in the area, I would service my car there regularly. Thanks A-Tech.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, from Service Manager Hawley to all the techs. Lobby was comfortable with free coffee as well as free snacks and was a bonus having two shop pups, Finn and Montana around to hang with as well. Very reasonable rates, they do AAA as well as a military discount. Thanks to them we were back on the road home to NY!!! Thank you so much!!

Poor service. Does NOT warranty their work and their diagnosis was very wrong. Took car into get a coolant leak fixed only to have a hose damaged during the repair. I had to bring the car to the dealer to get it fixed because they cant find the leak they caused. Dont bring your car here they charge dealer prices for back yard service.

I find everyone at this automobile repair business to be friendly, honest and very capable of explaining the issues with my car clearly. They also do a "check" as I rely on them to keep my car safe since I am not a mechanic and also keeping track of my inspection sticker! (3 months overdue...) I recommend them highly.

Had them replace a bad front wheel bearing in a trailblazer. They did good work but was a little expensive. The bearing listed on the receipt cost about double of the same one sold at Napa. But to be fair the service was good and the job was done quickly.
