Above & Beyond I had a small move within the city, and after reading a lot of online reviews I chose Efficient Moving Services. I’m very glad I did. Lauren was very helpful, professional, & answered all my questions. The 3 man crew turned up right on time & had my boxes & furniture, including a huge teak sideboard with glass doors, in the truck in under an hour & a half. My new place was less than 10 minutes away & they got straight to unpacking, just as efficient as earlier. However my huge sideboard would not fit up the elevator, the main stairs or the fire stairs to my 2nd floor apartment. I was devastated as it is my favorite piece of furniture. But after I saw how impossible this would be I suggested they take it back to my old apartment & I would just try to sell it or give it away. But those fantastic guys, worked for another hour to get that huge sideboard over a 2nd floor balcony railing from the pool deck! I just wanted to share my pleasant experience with Efficient Moving services. we were most pleased with the crew that was sent to us. To my surprise the owner of the company was part of the crew, and made sure everything was done the right way. When I asked Carlos why did he come to our move, he answer that he does not pick the jobs, but he randomly pick a job and a crew to make sure every one is doing as he trained them. I think that is a great attitude. My move was a little higher than what they estimated, however when I talked to Carlos to schedule the job he did mention that everything was based on an hourly rate, he said that the first priority was to move everything safely and efficiently and that he was not going to lie about the price just to get my business. He also mention that he prefers to have less customers but to have them happy at the end. which i thought was very honest. and I went with them. Carlos knew what he was doing and he made that extra effort to accommodate us and make sure that everything was done right. Carlos packed that truck beautifully avoiding anything breaking. The other two men were just as responsible and a pleasure to have moving us. Every team needs a good leader and let me tell you, your man Carlos is a super leader and a very considerate person. These four men worked their tales off and were definitely a pleasure to work with. I recommend them highly. This was the best movers that I have ever had. I have nothing but the highest praise for Carlos and his guys. I cannot imagine how any moving company could have handled my move any better than Efficient Moving did. They handled our office move without a hitch. A+ all around. Towards the end, I had trouble figuring out how to configure some of the furniture in my new office, and Carlos took the time to help me figure it our and rearrange so it would fit better. They treated all of my belongings as if they were their own. They all worked extremely hard to make sure there were no problems. It is not very often that we get to feel really good about a business transaction, but once moving day was over, hiring Efficient Moving was definitely a decision that I felt really good about. If I ever move again, I am going straight to Carlos. Plus, theyre a local Waltham company, so it also felt good knowing that I was supporting a fantastic, local company. Their positive online reviews are right on target and very well deserved.

These guys were as good as it gets! Efficient is the perfect name for this team! We were met at our door in Boston right before our scheduled time! We were explained the process and our items began swiftly moving out our tiny apartment door into the large truck! This team was careful, kind and respectful of our items and of us. We felt welcome to help but not pressured to lead. The men moving our items communicated well with each other and managed minor bumps along the way with little to no stress. We all arrived in Brooklyn, NY later that day within a half hour of each other. Our items again moved swiftly but this time out of the truck on a busy street and up 2 flights of stairs into our new apartment. We appreciate all the hard work and trusted our movers completely. I highly recommend this company!!!

We just moved from Waltham to Lincoln that also included transporting a dining set with hutch from Andover. Carlos and his men were really good. To begin with, from the first phone call, his rates were very reasonable, rather the least expensive compared to what I heard from other moving people who quoted as much as $175 per hour for 3 men and a truck and something as ridiculous as the time they would start billing would be from the time the people leave the office. Carlos on the other hand did not ask for any minimum hours and accommodated our request well. I would recommend this company to everybody. I have moved three times in three years and between states, these were the best we came across.

I have moved over 10 times in the course of my life and Efficient Moving Services was the best moving company Ive ever used. My boyfriend and I had a LOT of heavy stuff to move and a limited amount of time the we could afford. Carlos and his guys did it all and within the affordable time frame for us. I couldnt believe how strong they were and how quickly the got things done. They were true professionals and totally safe with the huge pieces of furniture that we had. As long as Im in the Boston area I will always recommend Efficient Moving Services!
