The reason Im giving Two Men and a Truck one star is simply because of the way I was treated by their customer service representatives, Pat, in particular. There were issues with my move from go. I was quoted between 3 and 700. I was billed for overtime, which is debatable. But I will let that part go. What really upset me, is the fact that the movers broke my lamp, and told my mom they cleaned it up and threw it in the trash. They also told me personally when they came to the new apartment, that they threw it in the trash as well. I was never asked to fill out a report for damaged property. I was at the new apartment all day with Comcast so I did not see exactly everything that went on. What I do know, is I was told my lamp was already broken- which it definitely was not. They broke it. So lets just call it an accident and carry on. But as each day passes Im noticing more issues. My desk was broken. And my couch has a tear in it. My couch cost 2000 dollars. Give me a break man. This company seems to be a racket. Pat told me he wasnt going to credit me the measly 45 dollars I was quoted off my bill (of almost 1000 dollars)...because my Mom called him and used vulgarity when she spoke to him. I cant be held responsible for my mothers behavior. She disagreed with him and his approach over the phone, and she chose to speak to him the way she did. When I spoke to him I was very professional and diplomatic. I tried to rationalize with him, but all he did was get defensive with me, because I said I dont like when people lie to me. His guys damaged my property, bottom line. This is not about the money. The money is dust in the wind folks. But just for general principle. I would never recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I will now go out of my way across the internet and back- to let it be known how unfairly I was treated. And I would encourage everyone else who feels me, to do the same.

I dont often write reviews, but if I could give this company 10 stars i would. I have used them twice, and in both cases they went above and beyond for me. I have 2 pianos that need to be moved carefully, so I can say that they have the systems in place for taking care of difficult-to-move items - but where they stood out was in their ability and willingness adapt to the needs of the job. In my first move, I was a single mom, overwhelmed trying to get everything together. When they arrived, I think they saw the job was bigger than what was indicated, and they brought in additional help and supplies to get the job done. It was a quick response, the team was cheerful and really eased what was becoming a stressful situation for me. The second move was a last minute request when something came up and I needed someone immediately to help - again, they responded so quickly and professionally. I cant begin to tell you the relief I felt when they arrived. As far as the crew - in both cases the team lead was knowledgable and knew how to assess the situation and recommend the best solutions. The other team members were cooperative and nice. At all times, they checked in with me to make sure we were all on the same page. Paperwork and payment was simple. The admin staff that coordinated the move was spot-on. Ultimately, they are what they claim: Two Men and a Truck, but in my experience, you get a lot more.

Brian and Michael are the absolute worst managers I have ever worked for. They mistreated me in the office by not giving me my rights as an employee and belittled me as a person. They refused to give me all my paperwork I had signed which is my right. Also when an issue came up where I was treated wrongly in the office, I was and ganged up on by the manager and the employees and was sent home. I WOULD NOT recommend working for the company or having ANYTHING to do with Two Men And A Truck, knowing how they treat people and the fact that they dont even follow their own core values. Integrity? Care? Inclusion? The Grandma Rule? They dont value any of these at all. There are other moving companies you would be better off with.

We actually had three men and a truck. Kwesi, Cornell and Ravelle were courteous, professional, hard-working, friendly, and a great team! Their positive attitudes helped us relax throughout the move. When we were uncertain about a piece of furniture, they patiently unwrapped it for us then rewrapped and moved it to where we wanted. We had a narrow staircase and they found a way to exceed our expectations in what they were able to move up it. They took the stress out of the move and actually finished earlier than the estimated time! We certainly would use Two Men and a Truck again...would recommend this company...and specifically this team!

The office staff called me very quickly and was able to answer all of my questions and give me a timely and accurate quote. I chose TWO MEN because you responded quickly to the quote request and were kind, courteous, and easy to talk to on the phone to get information. The movers showed up early but notified me first which was fine. They were both very kind and worked hard despite the heat that day and extreme humidity. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience and I would definitely recommend this company to friends or family. Thank you for making my last-minute move run smoothly and safely.

We needed to move a fridge from my brothers house to my house, so we needed a truck and we needed a couple of strong guys -- I didnt want my brother or my husband risking their backs! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was exactly what we needed. I called only one working day before we needed to move it and was very happy to be able to book the service. The woman in the office estimated 1.5 - 2 hours, so we were thrilled when the guys were able to do the job in one hour, saving us money! I would certainly call TWO MEN AND A TRUCK again with a similar need.

Almost every piece of furniture they touched, they damaged- most beyond repair. The movers stole things things they saw lying around, they lied about the furniture they damaged , and denied hitting my car, even though the same color blue paint on my furniture was on my silver car! Not only that, but after the car was hit, they "suddenly" moved their truck! So, if you want a nightmare like the one I had, go on, hire them. Otherwise if you want to keep your belongings in the same condition, call someone else.

Had a move recently in which they surprised me by putting a $700 charge as a credit hold on my card without warning after the move as well as the actual $400 charge. After some headaches with my bank and 2 Men and a Truck the issue is resolved. The move itself was great and painless, and while the aftermath was hell it was admittedly temporary so Im changing this from a 1-star to a 4-star.

tried to get a free estimated quote online and got email back saying i needed to fill out some long form i couldnt even download with out purchasing or downloading a version of Microsoft office. the website advertises like all the other websites get a quote fast not give us all this information in a lengthy process for an estimated quote. couldnt even start the process and was disappointed.
