Olympia is great, and frankly a lifesaver. After returning from our honeymoon, we learned our apartment had been sold and the owner wanted us out in a month. In a few days that are still a haze, we found a new apartment, signed a new lease and arranged moving. Then we realized we didnt have time to pack. Olympia completely saved the day with that. Their packing service was top notch and completely changes the moving experience. In an afternoon, the three guys packed up our entire apartment and labeled everything clearly (far better than I would have). Everything was secure and safely packed without any damage during the move - last time I moved myself I wasnt as lucky. As for the moving day itself, they were on-time, courteous and efficient. It was a little embarrassing to see how quickly they were able to move everything in a few hours when I knew the same project would have taken me and my friends easily all day. Plus they helped arrange the furniture as we wanted, including moving the fridge to the other side of the room! Olympia is amazing and I am planning on using them for the next inevitable move.

Do not use this company! My 86 year old mother moved from Portland, Maine, to Chicago in July 2012. She explicitly told them she didnt want any property insurance other than the minimal no-cost coverage. When the movers loaded the truck, the driver told her she had to sign the insurance page. My mother protested that she didnt want extra insurance but was told she had to sign the page anyway, which she did. It turns out that she (or the driver) should have checked a box on that page indicating the minimum insurance and that the DEFAULT option if no box is checked is the extremely expensive full replacement value no-deductible. In my mothers case the bill she eventually received had an additional $650 on it for the insurance. Attempts to get this charge taken off have been met with silence. (Incidentally, at first they charged a lump sum amount to my mothers credit card with no breakout of charges. It was only with some difficulty that I was able to obtain a detailed charge list and discovered this insurance charge.) I repeat: do not use this company!

This was the first time we had a company pack us up and move us. It was an interstate move, and our things had to go to storage at their warehouse for a few weeks. I was blown away with the service. Not only were the guys professional and fast, they were so friendly and funny, too! My eight year old son loved them - he made it his job to keep them hydrated and chat with them. One of them, Daniel, even took the time to hold his hamster. They really made us feel like we were in good hands, and we were. I would never use another company after our experience with them. They made everything so smooth, easy, and stress-free. Everything arrived when it was supposed to, in perfect condition (with the exception of one item, perhaps - a record player, but I think theres always bound to be one minor thing). I cant thank them enough for their time, energy, and professionalism. An A+, class act. Thank you!

The quote process was great which is why we chose Olympia. We followed all suggestions to pre-pack to reduce cost from the given quote and save even more money. I pre-packed 70% of our 1600 sq ft townhouse. However, the movers that showed up moved so slow the cost for day 1, just clearing out our townhouse, exceeded the given quote. They are trying to charge us 11 hrs of labor for 3 movers packing 23 boxes and moving our furniture- again, just day 1 of the move. They moved so slow a 4th man was called in at 3 pm, which of course they are trying to charge us for. We have paid thousands of dollars in the moving process to our realtor, mortgage broker, and attorney- all who have our best interests in mind and advocated for us. Olympia is the exact opposite.

Olympia was a fantastic experience, they went above and beyond. They showed up on time packed everything very quickly and very well. Everything was delivered on time, and nothing was broken or missing. The movers were very knowledgeable and courteous. They made not damaging not only the items they were moving but the walls carpets and the house a priority. They had no problem rearranging the room if I wasn’t happy with the original layout. I have used other movers in the past and have been over changed or had many of my items broken thanks to Olympia that is a thing of the past (also they have had the best price time and time again). I will continue to use their services and recommend them to anyone I know who will be moving.

Olympia was the contractor assigned to our 5th move in six years and it was the best one yet! We were beyond impressed by the professionalism of Gytis, Rares, Guedrius, Juozas, and Alberto. They worked extremely hard the entire time they were here and took great care of our belongings. They maintained a "can-do" attitude even when the truck couldnt fit down our street. Rather than giving up, they quickly formulated a plan B and a plan C (just in case). When it started to rain, they quickly moved any boxes exposed to the elements inside the house. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company and we will request Olympia for our next move.

We were very pleased with all aspects of dealing with Olympia, from the initial contact for a quote to the very end of the move. They called and asked if they could come earlier than the appointed time which was fine with us. The two fellows apprised the situation right away and they set the project in motion with no wasted time or energy. They were very professional and answered any question we had. If the need arose we would not hesitate to use Olympia again. We had read stories about moving companies not being up front or honest and trying to extract extra money. This was NOT the case with Olympia. They are reputable and straight forward and true to their word. Thank you Olympia.

I would highly recommend using Olympia Moving and Storage. I have used them on two occasions, one to move an entire lab and another to move personnal items. Both times, all parties involved were extremely professional and helpful. The staff you deal with at the company to schedule the initial appointment is wonderful and work very hard to accomodate your specific needs. The guys we dealt with on both occasions were exceptional. We moved some difficult items, including a piano. They managed to get the items from one location to the next without any problems. Do yourself a favor if you are moving and call Olympia Moving and Storage. You wont be disappointed.

Mark was very pleasant and helpful, and his estimate was very accurate. A nice surprise was that the final cost was a bit less than the estimate! He gave us the flexibility to pack as much as we could, and have help with the rest. Ron, our driver, and Brian, were amazing. They obviously take pride in their work, they worked hard, and were very personable. Ron called the night before the move, and communicated throughout the process, making everything go smoothly. Moving can be extremely stressful, but they made it much easier. The extra helpers at each end of the trip were also hard working and pleasant.
