This place was a joke of a business. i had to send car back 3 times. They said it was the cables to battery that was issue. we agreed to price under $200. Then they said "after backing it out of garage that it was alternator"......I was stuck so agreed to that new fix to original problem. They advised me to change a belt for $100 with no labor. We agreed. Next called they said all set but you should rotate wheels....i said how much and the $ was 519. When my wife pick up car it was $680. they said they did add all the wheel rotating. 2 day later car is dead again...which was original issue. A few more days in shop...i finally had to call them. No contact from them. McCrackin said that users were leaving car in auxiliary more thus killing battery and killing car. He said he did not want to charge me the 4 and a half hours for job and he was not going to fix. We agreed the 2 hours of "figuring out" what problem was. I feel i should not have to pay a mechanic to "figure out problem....but i needed car and paid his $85 per hour for this joke of a mechanic. Here is the joke. My son drove car home from shop and windows wipers, lights , electric seats are all bad,. The wipers turned on lights and had to shut car off. to turn them off. After asking them if they ever check they work before they give car back i was biting my mouth in anger. They agreed to take car back again. I never spoke to the mechanic only Conner who seems to just handle the phones. My advise is to never to go there. They seemed to have roped me in and made bill go up incrementally after i already paid for each item.

The check engine light in our sons car was on and while we were pretty sure it was due our daughter not putting the gas cap on tightly, we werent sure. I called McCracken and they said bring it by whenever you have the chance and well clear the code. We brought the car in and they cleared the code and ascertained that it most likely was the gas cap. We have had to pay $75 to have this done at the dealer before. McCrackens staff was so nice, kind and helpful. They didnt charge us a dime and sent us on our way. We wouldnt go anywhere else

I have used McCrackens for about 40 years! They have repaired all kinds of cars for me, some new, some used. They run a neat, efficient, courteous operation and are always clear about costs, quoting them in advance. Phones are answsered promptly and helpfully. My brother uses their snow plow operation and have greatly appreciated that as well. You cant do better than McCrackens.
