A good place to get exercise. Easy parking. Family owned. Metal buildings. Not beautiful or elegant. Only social if you play indoor tennis. Has weight machines, free weights, cardio machines, a basketball hoop, a lap pool (too shallow for diving), a not-very-hot tub. Churn in staff leads to variable quality but mostly good. About monthly something breaks and takes time to fix. A more multi-national and multi-color membership than I have seen elsewhere. Large representation of high tech. Mix of genders. Lots of allowance for the elderly, the injured, and the unfit. Children only swim, play tennis or basketball. The water aerobics is excellent for people who had not been exercising before. Weight room has subtitled flat screen T.V.s showing usually news or sports (bring your own earphones), 2 channels at a time, and oldies XM music. A constantly chainging selection of classes has loud music and yelling trainers, with various weights, step platforms, stationary bikes, and other themes. Your health insurance may give you a discount. Make sure to ask when you join. Mens and womens locker rooms have showers, toilets, and saunas.

I took my 3.5 years old son there for kids swimming lessons, and I was completely unsatisfied with the results. For the price they are charging for half an hour beginner class, I expected for it to be fun and entertaining for the kids. Instead, the beginner and intermediate groups were both jammed into one corner of the pool, and half the kids in the beginner group could actually swim, which didnt benefit the other half. Overall, it was poorly organized and managed program, and once our 10 weeks were up, we did not rejoin. Also, the condition of the center is dismal. The ladies changing room is dirty and shabby, with broken locker doors. The ceiling of the pool area is rusted, with stains going down the walls. The concrete around the pool is broken in places, and so are the sparse chairs and equipment lying around the pool. Considering that this is one of the few pools around the area and looking at all the negative reviews, I cannot comprehend why the owners do not renovate the facilities. There would be a lot more families, including us, wanting to join.

I have been going to this gym for over three years now; I love the classes including BodyFlow (formerly Centergy) that is like a yoga class except with an awesome play list and a couple Pilates tracks too, BodyCombat (essentially an amped up kick-boxing class), and Zumba (an awesome dance workout), plus the pool is fabulous. The pool got me through my first pregnancy. You get discount tennis court time, which is great in the winter. I used to use the machines, of which there are enough, but they are nothing special. The best amenities there are the Sauna and the Jacuzzi hot tub ;) These make every trip worth it! From a service stand point, I would say its gotten better. Overall I am satisfied with them, and I feel like with the pool included, the approx. $40/mth we pay is worth it!

The pool and tennis courts are in decent shape (could be cleaned more often). The weight/fitness room is okay but out of date with a lot of older equipment showing its age. The employees are generally helpful and positive. On the negative side, the locker rooms are falling apart with only 1 bathroom changing area thats generally moldy and pretty scary. The bathroom needs to be demolished and renovated. The owner has been dragging his feet to update the facility for a number of years. The showers alone are literally held together with electrical tape or shower heads capped off. Only one has hot water. The lockers are cheap particle board. Bottom line is the owner is very cheap and doesnt improve or maintain anything unless hes forced.

We found Westford Racquet and Fitness to be very dishonest and incompetent. Two years ago my wife tried to cancel her membership when she was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. She called on several occasions as did several family members. They insisted she go physically to the gym to sign a membership termination paper, which she finally did 18 months ago. We found out last month they had continued charging our credit card, because they misplaced the termination papers. No one in the family has used the facilities during the last two years. Disreputable and dishonest - not much more can be said about them.

I LOVED this gym! Even though I only used the fitness center, Id definitely recommend this club to anyone. The staff is so friendly and willing to help. The womens locker room was always clean, and so was the fitness room! Theres ALWAYS a treadmill, elliptical, and/or bike open for use. I loved their nautilus machines and their weight area. Their TRX setup was great, and there was room in the back to stretch. Bubblers right near the fitness entrance make it easy to hydrate mid/post workout. If I didnt have to move, Id absolutely renew my membership.

Trying to get in touch with Westfit to schedule/book swim lessons. Each time I call them during business hours I get the answering machine. I finally get a call back but the man I spoke to said they wont have a schedule out till the end of the week. At the end of the week I keep calling and no one answers and I havent yet got a second call back from the message I left the second time. So frustrating. About to give up and move onto another club.

OK so far. Switched from the Y. WesFit has a much more open pool schedule, allowing me to go at a time that works for me. Very welcoming there, and not overly crowded at the times Ive gone. The facilities are really showing their age -- not that different from when I was there in the late 90s, but they are now renovating. Looks like they are on a good track for a much improved facility. Being ten mins down the road from me is a real plus, too.

Hey, its not an upperclass social center, its an indoor fitness club: lots of equipment, tennis courts, a big pool, and rates you can afford. If you want a well-decorated luxury establishment, find one if you can and pay luxury rates. If you want a full-service fitness club that wont break the bank, Westford Racquet has what you need. Ive been going there for over ten years and am much the better for it.

I loved the gym. My problem is that I went in and cancelled my membership due to an foot injury in November and was told I was all set. December they sent me a bill. I called in December and explained my account was cancelled. They looked it up and told me no problem...Since then I have received a bill in January, and February. I not sure what the issue is, but my account is cancelled.

Worst health club Ive ever been to. Womens locker room only has 2 showers . . at busy times you can forget showering after a workout. Pool is dirty. I signed up for a Masters swimming program and the instructor just stopped showing up (although, to be fair, I did receive a refund without asking). Everything is run down and falling apart. The place is basically disgusting.

A decent place to exercise if you dont care about how the place looks, and it does look pretty rundown. They have a decent selection of weights and machines, along with some tennis courts and a pool. Contrary to the description on their google+ page, the pool is actually 25 meters long, not a 50 meter olympic size pool
