Went to this location with my son in Feb. to check the place out, looking for storage space large enough to accommodate pallets and easy in and out. We were greeted by Tina, with a pleasant smile and attitude. She spent the time to go over and show us everything we needed. At this time however she did not have a unit that met our needs, but asked if she could contact us when one became available. To this she did, the paper work was done on line, very easy and quite straight forward. I went there today to learn the procedure for incoming and outgoing, easy and simple. We walked to the unit, to find its location. When we opened the door, I observed a clean floor, nothing, it was clean and empty. Good housekeeping. Would I recommend this location, yes, friendly and personable while businesslike. Easy access in and out of the location and right off I-190 N. One final comment, over the last few months we check out several other locations, this companys and other warehouse buildings. By far these folks were the nicest people to deal with and the cleanest areas. There were some folks that needed an attitude adjustment I am sorry to say. Sure, you could rent for less money but you get what you pay for and some places were just plain dirty, you could tell they were not maintained, and they were doing you a favor renting them.

Remarkably bad experience with this operation. As a returning customer I attempted on a Saturday to rent a 30 space for a trailer (that I had stored there before) and was told that I needed to produce the trailer registration (never raised before). Left and returned the next Saturday with the trailer registration in hand. Now I am told "we need your automobile insurance policy"( not the auto registration - but the auto insurance policy). When I asked why they didnt tell me that the week before - no good answer. Drive back home (again) to get the auto insurance policy. When I got back we go through the paperwork and they tell me, "You understand dont you, that you cant LIVE IN THE UNIT." OK - so I am a returning customer, Im driving a pretty good car, Im storing an expensive trailer, and I just drove HOME to get my insurance policy and they need to tell me I "cant live in the unit"????? Really? Darn! So - I ask for the name and contact information for somebody to complain to about how I was treated. Refused! Finally they gave me a name in N. Attelboro (no address, no phone number) and I track him down, call and leave a message for him to call me back. You guessed it - no call back. So, Mr Extra Space, dont complain about this review - you deserved it. R.B.

Absolutely horrible customer service. So we called yesterday to inquire about a storage space. Woman on the phone says first month free, will cost $24.95 processing fee. Thats it. She says theres one unit left at that price, but nobody has called so it should be available tomorrow. Not once did she mention this was a super special promo that was only good for that one day. So today we show up at 930 right when they open. Veronica, the woman behind the desk, was awesome. She saw the notes saying we were told it was first month free. So its not like Im some customer making a story up. Their computer system verified my story. So Veronica calls her manager and manager says too bad. It was only good for yesterday. Cannot and will not do anything to help. Now I was moving stuff from Webster so clearly the greendale area is not convenient. So long story short (too late I know) the manager let us leave over $40. So lost a customer over $40 and now Im going to slam them on every social media platform that exists. Thats sounds worth it. Tina is possibly the worst manager Ive ever dealt with. Even with the notes in the computer she refuses to honor THEIR deal

We used this facility during our move across town. Almost everything from our home went into the climate-controlled storage. It was an excellent experience and I will definitely come back to them for future storage needs. Service: Tina, Suzanne, and Bill are great to work with. Each made the process friendly, professional, fast, and simple. Facilities: top-notch as well. Units were clean, well-maintained, and VERY conveniently located along 190. All our temperature- and humidity-sensitive items were in great shape afterward (mattresses, wood, etc.). Policies: a phenomenal deal (especially with the "first month free" promo) and a very simple, transparent transaction.

With this being my first time renting a storage space, i have had nothing but a positive experience the moment i walked through the office door. I love the fact that the property is highly secure and never gives me trouble trying to access my unit. Most of all, the ladies who work in the office are AWESOME! I had experienced a customer giving one of the ladies a hard time and she handled the situation in a more than professional manner ! Putting your possessions in storage can be scary. it put me at ease to know i went to a great storage company with a wonderful staff behind them.

I originally posted as 5 stars but retracted back to 3. Office was very nice and clean, and so was the unit. Main complaint is the website was a bit deceiving in saying the first month is free but it turned out not to be for this location. I called this location about the issue and was told they hadnt offered that for a long time, but she would get back to me. She never called which was poor customer service. Admittedly this was a circumstantial issue and youll probably have close to a 5 star experience here, but could it rate it as such given my experience.

This is the second time I have used Extra Space at Ararat St, Worcester, MA - and I cant say enough good things about it. The facility is clean and well cared for, secure and most of all DRY! Even through the week long torrential down pour of this past spring the floor of my drive up unit was bone dry - good thing, as all of my books were in boxes on the ground... You cant beat the price and location, and the folks who run it couldnt be nicer. Many thanks, and Ill be back when storing again!

Dont use this company!!! Very deceiving...My Active Duty son went here to get storage for his things prior to his deployment and they wont honor what they advertise online as well as on their property. Buy one month Free when you pay for the 2nd month. They have the signs posted everywhere on their property and on the buildings as well as out front....Such a shame they dont honor what they advertise especially to our military... Have the pics as proof on my FB page

EXCELLENT customer service! I reserved a storage unit from the website, and my phone rang 30 seconds after I submit my info online. The process was quick and easy. Both employees that were working at the time were very helpful, super nice, and made me feel like an important customer. I rented a large and CLEAN, 10ft x 20ft drive up unit at a great monthly rate. I highly recommend this place if you or someone you know is in need of a storage unit.
