I would like to express my severe disappointment with my overall experience with this dealership. Perhaps its because we only bought a used vehicle that we dont deserve good customer service, but I wouldnt recommend anyone shop here. When I first called they told me the vehicle I was interested was not available because a customer was doing financing "as we speak" but if it fell through he would call me. After several days they called me and said the financing did not go through and would I like to make an appointment to test drive the vehicle. Of course. So I make an appointment for 5 p.m. even though I am talking to her at noon to make the appointment. When my husband I get there, the vehicle isnt even there, but we should wait in their cafe until it arrives. We wait an hour and then are about to leave when it shows up. Why bother making an appointment when they wont have the vehicle there anyway? After we test drive the vehicle we decide on purchasing and do the standard haggle/negotiating which takes another 3 hours. We take delivery on the vehicle and it only came with one key and remote. What the heck? My trade, despite it being old even has two keys, two remotes and console keys we turned in. We ask about the second key and the salesman John Lusk said he thinks it is at the other dealership and will check into it and let me know. Right. Most vehicles usually come with two keys and two remotes. Needless to say after over a week not hearing back I contact the dealership by phone, leave a voicemail message for Mr. Lusk and get a standard email back saying no we dont have a second key or remote. Too bad for you pretty much. Really?!!! Your dealership could not even provide a second key?!!!! I bought my last truck at a dealership and it didnt have a second key, but you know what?!! My salesman got me a second key!! That showed me that he cared. I will not be going back to this dealership, nor recommend it to any of my friends or family. This dealership obviously does not care about customers once they leave the lot with a vehicle.

I went to LaFontaines website and sent an online message. I didnt get a response from anyone after a while and decided to call the dealership. I talked to Paul Jordan on the phone and he was very pleasant and agreed to see me and my husband that day. When I arrived to the dealership Paul Jordan came and introduced himself to me and had me to work with Dave Robson. I spent a short time with him and then was passed to Paul Videcoq. I explained my situation to Paul and needed my car to be looked at for a trade in. I was told he would have the finance manager work out the numbers and get back with me in a couple of hours. I arrived at the dealership at 1:30 p.m. Now I dont want to go into how I drove all the way from Canton and met my husband with our 15 month old baby, dropped his car off at the shop to be appraised (which it was never looked at), had to drive back to Canton in heavy traffic. I called the dealership back at 4:19 p.m. because I hadnt heard anything. I talked to Paul Videcoq and he said the finance manager was busy with a customer and had not heard anything and would call me when he did. So I had to drive back to Ann Arbor from Canton with all 3 of my kids in more traffic to pick my husband up from work to get our car from the dealership that was never looked at. So I say all tha to say this, my husband warned me about coming to this dealership because he tried to get a car from you guys before and was told they would get back with him and they never did. So I told him I talked to someone really nice and I believe in second chances. It looks like I was wrong and I wasted an entire day with no results. I wrote this review because I am a stay at home mom now but for the past 14 years I have worked in customer service and I pride myself in great customer service. I would have appreciated a phone call to say he is still working on it or even a NO so I can move on. My review is my gift to you so this wont happen to anyone else. So I will take my money and my business elsewhere. Thank you for your time.

This happened at the Lansing, Lafontaine Chrysler Dealership on Pennsylvania Ave. PROMISE YOU A ROSE GARDEN AND THROW YA IN THE THORNS!!!!!! Thursday night (3/30/3017), I was contacted by a woman named Angelica, advised it was the end of the month and I could get the absolute best price on my BMW 335i xdrive trade in, and because of incentives its very likely I can get a New Camaro/Challenger. Angelica states: "This Dealer has the best financial staff, and are such great people! I will put in the notes you are driving a long distance." I live in Portage, Michigan. An hour away Minimum!!!! I was so excited! My car has 125k miles, no warranty. Thinking it was time for something New and fun to drive!!! On Friday (3/31/2017), Via email, I Was referred to Drew Tompkins. After calling him several times (he never responds to calls or messages), a salesman named Blake calls me and sends me a text on what I needed to bring or provide him. I sent documents via Text. (Which I know he received due to my phone stating when texts are read.) No Response!! No Contact!!! Had to call Angelica back to try to find out what was going on... At which point, I got a text that stated "ok just a sec". Then NO CONTACT FOR HOURS!!!!! Just to be spun again!!! I have all texts and phone records. (Or lack of) So Saturday morning (4/01/2017), I drive all the way to the Dealership in Lansing (Chrysler). To be told Blake was not in his office, on the sales floor, hes nowhere to be Found....... And Drew Tomkins was too busy!! He had one customer in his office and several others waiting. Also told he wasnt there........ (According to the person that greeted me when I arrived) So I tried to find Blake again. TO NO AVAIL!!! Drove more than an hour back home, Mad as Heck! I truly believe that your credit score determines how you are treated! Im not sure if they care about a potential customer who could very well have been a lifelong customer!!

Terrible experience purchasing a car. My wife and I were interested in purchasing an used vehicle. Came across an SUV we liked. Thomas Wright was our salesman. He was awkward at times and certainly seemed as though he was new to the business but we wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. The first red flag came on the test drive. The brakes are clearly not working properly. Thomas waves it off and says they will take care of that. Proceeds to try and get us to purchase the car before repairs. We insist we will not purchase the car until the necessary repairs have been made and we can see brakes are working properly. He calls me the next day saying we can come and pick up our vehicle as it is now repaired. We check out the vehicle again and brakes seem to be working. We secure the paperwork for all the work done to the vehicle but we still arent sure the vehicle is for us. We decide to move forward in spite of Thomas. It has just come to our attention that the entire A/C unit is not working at all. The compressor, drier and clutch bearing are all bad. We couldnt test the A/C when we test drove as it was cold out and we couldnt tell if it was blowing cold air. We now had a 2k+ bill to replace everything fortunately before the clutch bearing damaged the serp belt. Im certain dealership was aware of this issue and sold it to us anyway. I wouldnt trust their salesmen, inventory or their pricing. Particularly Thomas Wright. Plenty more honest dealerships out there, this certainly isnt one of them. Stay away. Edit- A THIRD 1k+ repair has come up within 12 months of purchasing the vehicle. I certain the vehicle is right on the edge of the 30 days needed for the Michigan Lemon Law to come into effect. Cant imagine a worse experience.
