I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee here and my experience was very arduous and frustrating. I dealt with a Jon Taulbee who seems like a very nice guy on the surface, maybe even a little too nice. I am trying to buy a car and leave, not make a best friend or tell you about my life story. I had decided that I wanted to buy the car almost immediately and just needed to sign for it. I took it for a test drive and the brake rotors were warped so severely that it was almost dangerous. They ended up replacing two rotors and turning the other two, which seemed to fix the problem. During the test drive, we were on back roads and I was unable to notice that the car would start to shake at 70 miles per hour as well as track to the left, indicating a clear alignment issue. I did not notice this until after I had already paid for the car. The salesman also did not know many seemingly simple questions I had about the car. When I was ready to pay for the car, I was presented with a copy of my customer profile sheet with the description of the car, the repairs that would be done and literally a "..." to indicate all of the fees that would be added. All of this was done in sharpie marker on the bottom half of a page. I was expected to sign this unprofessional document and was met with confusion when I wanted something printed an itemized. This took an unnecessarily long time to accomplish. When I finally had this, I noticed a 200 dollar charge for some type of security etching that goes on the windows that apparently helps deter theft. It also included a type of insurance that would give you money towards a new car in the event that yours is stolen. I stated that I do not wish to have this done. As a result of the law, I have insurance on my vehicle already, I do not need to waste money on extra insurance. This became a big issue as well, and of course he would need to speak with his manager yet again. After hours of waiting around at the dealership, everything was taken care of. I know how much less time the process could have taken had they been more professional and listened to me to begin with. The salesman contacted me a week after I bought it and asked me how I liked it. I mentioned that I wished I had known about the clear alignment issue before I had bought it, but other than that, I was pleased. He stated that the mechanic did not put that on the list after inspecting it and blew it off. I work on my own vehicles and do not claim to be an expert, but I know that cars are not supposed to naturally steer to the left towards oncoming traffic and that this and a shaking issue at certain speeds indicates an alignment issue. TL;DR - Salesman was unprofessional, not very knowledgeable and made me want to write a terrible review based on my experience. The process as a whole took quite longer than was necessary and I would not return to this dealer, nor would I recommend it. Disclaimer: Other salemen/women might do a decent job, this was just my experience with this one in particular.

We purchased a Certified Buick Enclave in December of 2015 as a surprise Christmas present for my wife. I left the dealership with instant buyers remorse from the experience but figured Id put the event behind us as a lesson learned and move on. A year later, and Im still dealing with the fallout of that shopping experience. The dealership "forgot" that the vehicle was Certified and had to draw up the paperwork for it after we had finished all of the other paperwork. That shouldve been a sign for me to walk away from the table. We discovered the following morning that we didnt get a set of spare keys for the vehicle, and when I called to see if they forgot to give them to us, I learned that I shouldve made sure there were two sets of keys before signing the paperwork. It cost me over $300 to get another set of keys made. In the year that weve had the vehicle, Ive had three major service visits in my home state of NC. Thankfully the Service Center here has been great, but while traveling over Thanksgiving, we had another major service event that stranded us 10 hours from home. The Service Center we had work on the vehicle this time informed us that our Certified Warranty doesnt show up in the system and that Id need to work with Champion Buick GMC to get it resolved. Upon calling the dealership, I was informed that the carbon copy of the Certified Warranty I have showing 2-year, 24 thousand miles is only for maintenance, and that the limited bumper-to-bumper is 1-year, 12 thousand miles (theres also large limitations on that as well), which is not stated anywhere on any of the paperwork I have from the sale. Theres also been numerous failed promises on callbacks, etc. If youre looking to relive the stereotypical Used Car Dealer experience that existed before internet reviews, shop here. If youre doing your homework, take your business elsewhere.

I received a mass mailing advertising a big event at Champion Buick. I had seen where they had done an extensive remodelling this summer so I thought that maybe they were really doing something special. The scratch off flyer led me to believe that I had won $750. I called the number, was told I did indeed win a prize but she couldnt tell me what my prize was and that Id need to schedule an appointment to find out what I had won. I showed up at the appointed time only to find that it was a hoax. The salesperson identified himself as not an employee of Champion, but that he worked for the bank. What bank? I listened to his pitch which was to get me to buy a vehicle. I wasnt really surprised. If something seems too good to be true, well, you know the rest of that story. My number wasnt a winner, the additional scratch off card wasnt a winner but I was given an imitation gold coin as my consolation prize. He also advised me not to embarrass myself by taking it to a pawn shop. Im sad that this reputable business had to stoop to this kind of shady trick to get people to come in the door. Really folks! Its Christmas, and most people are looking for extra cash for Christmas or a gift, not to be scammed into buying a vehicle. My husband will be looking for a GM truck in the next year. We WONT be buying it from Champion. Well go to a business that offers superior customer service with a superior product. Shame on you.

First read this before you buy from them , We leased a 2015 Canyon from them and it had 10 recalls to start, we than had to take it in when it was making a noise starting , of course didnt do it for them , knew this noise wasnt going to go away , noise came back again, took it again , found the trans bolts had come loose , was told it was tightened up and fixed, nope was doing it again week later , found out from the service guy it had rocks and dirt in it and wasnt even tight , they had to order a part now 2 days later now it was fixed. we were not happy with the vehicle, well Scott was going to help us out , yep grab your wallet, he was going to take care of us and get us into a full size sierra, and get us out of our lease, yep hold tight to the wallet , come to find for 388.00 a month was a lease for the Sierra , seem high yep it was called around , he wasnt getting us out of our lease he was adding 4000.00 to the lease of the new truck, yep he was taking care of us , We called Randy Wise and Charlie Burgess not only took the cannon he was able to get us in a Sierra and a Regal what relief we didnt just let the stress of vehicles being down get us to go with our friend Scott at Champion , Beware and shop around, and if you deal with Scott and hear the words I am here to help you run!!!!!
