I was in the market to buy a new roof sometime in the next 6-8 months and after receiving a terrifying quote from one company, a friend of mine recommended that I text Ricky Steele. I had no idea which company he was with, but she loved his customer service and their new roof. Ricky immediately responded to me and was able to come out to my house to check out my roof. Thats when I found out that he was with Mr. Roof. He gave me a quote that I was comfortable with, but at the time, I did not plan on getting the roof right away because of other projects that were in the works. He told me to call him if anything happened with the roof between his visit and when I made my decision to move forward. Fast forward a month and Mother Nature decided that August was the best time to dump a bunch of rain on Michigan and my roof, subsequently, decided to take the month off. I called Ricky and he came out in 20 minutes to put a tarp on my leaking skylight and to get me scheduled for a new roof. He made the process very easy and in a way it felt like I was working with a close friend. I didnt have to go through a crazy sales pitch, but I was still educated on the roof and the products, but not in an annoying when-will-this-guy-leave-my-house kind of way. So, if you ever need roof advice that is accurate and to the point AND you want someone who values your time and your home as much as you do, get yourself in touch with Ricky.

They gave me an estimate, and took a 500 dollar deposit on May 5th. They would not return my calls requesting a projected time frame, and when I finally did get a hold of someone on about the 11th I was informed that they would only schedule my roof if another job was also in the same area so they would not have to make the trip for one job. The manager actually said he would schedule me when someone else near me also needed a roof job. I cant work around a "sometime in the future depending on what my neighbors do or dont do for home improvement" schedule, so I told them I would find another contractor. It is now May 16 and they still have not returned my deposit. I will give it a couple of days and then I am reporting it as a theft. Updated May 18, 2016. After writing me and making the statement that they intended to pursue legal action for the unfavorable review, they did credit my deposit back to the credit card on May 17th. The management said they had to wait for my deposit to clear before they could refund it, but we all know that is not how credit cards work. I wish I knew how to make a roll-eyes emoji... I will not be intimidated by them though, it is important that honest and factual reviews be available to people looking for a roofing contractor.

My wife and I met with Mr. Carl Apsley from Mr. Roof on Sept 27th. He explained everything to us and inspected our roof, both inside and outside. Our problem was not enough ventilation, and we were retaining heat and moisture in our attic. This caused us black spots on our ceilings He suggested adding gable vents inside the attic area and more vents on the roof plus baffles along the gables. To be honest, I went and received quotes from a couple other companies. Turns out Mr. Roof was the best deal as far as quality of product, warranty and price. Our roof was installed on Oct 13th. The crew showed up on time and set up tarps around the house. They worked like a fine tuned clock. The supervisor and his helper were there to answer all of our questions, even to the point of taking pictures to show us in better detail what they were talking about. We were very impressed with the way this crew worked together. The job was finished that evening as promised. One week after the work was done, an inspector from Mr. Roof showed up, went up on the roof to check the work that was done. Than asked if we had any questions or concerns. We would defiantly recommend Mr. Roof to our friends and family

Having our roof done by Mr. Roof was one of the best decisions we have made. The workers were great. A fantastic job. the best quality job Ive seen in a long time. Seth Labombarbe was a very informative sales person. He explained and demonstrated everything very well. He was extremely accommodating and very helpful in every way. I could not be happier with the job. The products they offer are great. they are installed with much detail in a very timely fashion. They did everything they said they were going to do and when they said they would. It was a very pleasant experience. I didnt have to worry about anything, and I wont ever have to worry about our roof again. I would not only recommend them, I wouldnt bother talking to anybody else. The price was less than their competitors and the quality better. The warranty just as good or better with the same amount of options available. In my mind their is no question to trust with this important task in protecting your home.

We were apprehensive to use a large roofing company after our house was damaged during a hail storm but after being denied by our insurance carrier, Ricky stepped in and saved the day. He liaisoned with our adjuster and ensured that all of the damage was identified. The claim was approved on the spot and Ricky took it from there. We had a new roof and skylight within days of the approval. Once onsite the installation and clean up took less than 8 hours. Antonio and his crew were amazing. They worked tireless on one of the hottest days of the year. Antonio made venting improvements on the fly that will save us big headaches down the line. We were absolutely impressed with the crews quality, speed, friendliness and absolutely outstanding clean up. We cant say enough good things about our experience with Ricky, Antonio, the installation crew and the entire Mr. Roof experience! We highly recommend Mr. Roof!

We had roof damage from the big wind storm in April. We were looking to replace the entire roof. Mr Roof sent a salesman and a trainee out on May 8th to look at the roof and give me a quote. The guy made us watch some 45 minute or longer video while he looked at the roof. We eventually turned it off because it was way too much info. The guy was very pushy like a car salesman and he didnt want to leave the house without making a sale. I kept telling him we were not going to make a pretty expensive decision on that day. He finally left after being at our house for around two hours. This was on a Monday and he said he would call me back on Wednesday to see what we thought. I never heard from the salesman again which made it very easy for us to decide to use a different company who replaced our entire roof. It was a very bad experience and I wont be in a hurry to recommend Mr Roof to any of my friends

We had those leaf guards installed when we got our roof the man that came out to give us a price told my husband congratulations you will never have to get on a ladder to clean a gutter again. Ha! That was a lie its now been 2 to 3 years and my husband has had to still get on a ladder to clean the gutters every year and this year we may have to take those supposedly wonderful leave guards off to clean out the gutters they are sharp and can easily cut someone they are full of holes that debris can fall right through into the gutter and no telling how long it will take to get them off because there are so many screws. Not very happy I call mr. roof today because we are still paying on it over 13,000 dollars to this company and she acts like shes not listening and yawning on the phone very inappropriate waiting to see if someone calls me back.
