I came across Computer Junkies about 6 months ago while I was shopping at the pet store and purchased a refurbished computer from them because it had Windows 7. I had to take it back a few times because it was really slow and the sound didnt work but they kept telling me nothing was wrong. So I took it somewhere else and the guys told me that the computer was so old that it was only capable of running Windows XP. They also told me that the Windows 7 that was on the computer was stolen and illegal. They said they had seen this so many times from Computer Junkies that even before they looked at it they knew what they would find. Apparently they steal the software from HP and put it on computers thinking they will get away with it but later on the customer gets screwed if they ever need any work done on it. This was my first and last experience with Computer Junkies. They took advantage of me! I ended up buying another computer and the guys at the other computer shop took this computer and threw it on the trash pile to show me just how worthless it was. I learned the hard way... I read other reviews saying these guys were trustworthy. From my own experience and what I hear this is far from the truth. Shame on you guys.

Outstanding job!! I know nothing about computers. I still use AOL mail. Blah. Yeesh, if Brian didnt do such a good job I wouldnt have went through the hassle of figuring out to sign onto Google to give him 5 stars. My computer tanked yesterday. Before that my laptop tanked. I let that sit and collect dust for a year or so while I used the one that just tanked. These guys combined the 2 into one new (rebuilt by them, new for me) computer. They also fixed my laptop. Like most, I needed my computer fixed yesterday. They installed Windows 10 and took care of all those privacy things. Great service. Excellent price. Im not savvy enough to know peoples computer needs, but Id at least give these guys a call before I went to Best Buy or one of those type stores. If you dont need a brand new computer with the latest of everything, Computer Junkies is certainly worth a look. For what its worth, my laptop from Best Buy crashed the very first time I tried to use it. I got the blue screen. They were willing to fix it, but wouldnt exchange it. After a hassle they did finally agree to exchange it. So much for that buying experience and a happy new purchase. Then the thing lasted 6 months. I wish I knew about these guys back then.

Brought my laptop up to them, didnt have time to dump it myself with my busy schedule, asked them to dump it. they say they normally charge 75 dollars for a dump and charged me only 50, which was nice. few days later (was a weekend so about 2 days) i picked it up, asked if there was anything i needed to know and they quickly rushed me out. go home start my computer up, works great all drivers are installed, windows xp (what i requested) was installed, and it had an anti-virus and a anti-malware, after i am done installing my own programs i shut it off, it automatically updates. next time i try to start up my laptop it has a fatal error, i call computer junkies again and they say it was the update that did it, i take it up to them and they want 60 more dollars to fix this error. if i were to originally have done it myself i would have been able to update, these guys are hacks, if they were using a proper install i SHOULD be able to update windows, and if they dont they should at least have the decency to warn me not to update. in lieu of all this, they were friendly for a majority of it, and seemed to be very knowledgeable.

Im a local business owner and have been using Computer Junkies for about 6 yrs now. I just got a Trojan on my server that my antivirus would not get rid of. I called Computer Junkies! I tried to take the server in myself but it was too heavy so I called them back and they sent someone out to pick it up for me. Yes I had to pay a trip charge but that was cheaper than physical therapy if I tried to do it myself. I also need my hard drive partitioned as I was running out of space in my C drive. I paid for a rush as my office & clients were down. They had it back to me in 3 hours. They are miracle workers. Also had a problem about a week ago when "Windows" did a "Security" update and my PC would not boot up. They got me up and running the same day also. Do not hesitate to call them or take your computer there!

I rely on my computer for work. Computer Junkies staff understood that, and has usually had the work done in less than a few hours. Brendan and his staff are knowledgeable, considerate and most of all; honest. I had a problem that I thought was major; turned out it was a button I hit, and they fixed it on the spot, no charge. Most places would have taken advantage. Ive had to take my laptop in due to Facebook viruses a couple times, and they dont charge an arm and a leg to fix it. I bought my laptop from them, I will continue to take it to them, and highly recommend these guys. Take my word for it, those guys know their stuff. Adam B.

It took them a long time for a fairly simple repair on our Apple laptop. We dropped the laptop off on a Wednesday and didnt get it back until the following Wednesday, which is a long time to go without your computer. They were not overly friendly or informative and we had to call 3 times before they even got around to looking at it. When we finally picked the fixed computer up they let slip that "We dont work on a lot of Macs so thats why it took us so long." Yikes! dont tell me that! I probably wont entrust my computer with them again especially if they openly admit to not knowing about apple products.

I have sent 4 computers and 11 laptops for my business. Computer Junkies has always had a great price and fairly quick turn around. The techs are very polite and very detailed. They took the time to explain my problems and the recommended solution. Sometimes we repaired and other times we just went ahead and purchased upgraded pre-owned laptops. Keep up the great work. Those of us who need it appreciate you guys.

I have been to other computer repair places and have always left feeling a little disappointed with the way they treated me. Computer Junkies didnt leave me feeling that way at all. They made me comfortable as soon as I walked in, fixed my computer quickly, and explained what they did before they did anything. I highly recommend them and they will be getting all of my business from now on.

They did a great job with my business computers. They run fast and reliable, and for us in the graphics industry, that is a must! Great pricing and fast turnaround. I would recommened anyone try them out. Also, excellent technical advisors. Which is really good for me because I always ask way too many questions!
