Metro Harper Auto Center 36880 Harper Ave Clinton Township, MI 48035 CHEATS PEOPLE OUT MONEY BY DOING SHODDY AUTO REPAIR. I TOWED MY AUTOMOBILE OUT OF Metro Harper Auto Center BECAUSE Sam TRIED TO DOUBLE DIP ON LABOR CHARGING TWICE FOR LABOR ($400.00) TO REMOVE AND REPLACE A TRANSMISSION THE TRANSMISSION WAS ALREADY OUT OF THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WERE REPLACING A LEAKING REAR MAIN SEAL ($12.00 PART) Metro Harper Auto Center HAD REPLACED THE MOTOR 3 MONTHS EARLIER AND DID A TERRIBLE JOB INSTALLING A HIGH MILEAGE MOTOR WITH SEVERAL OIL LEAKS. THAT WAS A VERY DIRTY THING TO DO TO ANY CUSTOMER FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGED TO INSTALL THE MOTOR. BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOUR NOT GOING TO DO THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME DO NOT DO THE JOB AT ALL. ALL OIL LEAKS COULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED BEFORE INSTALLION OF THE MOTOR VERY INEXPENSIVELY. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THIER WORK OR WARRANTY (90 DAYS). THEY USE LOW END REPLACEMENT PARTS AND/OR USED HIGH MILEAGE PARTS AND MARKUP THE PRICE ON PARTS 150%. THEY WILL MAKE FALSE PROMISES ABOUT GETTING YOU REPAIR FINISHED ONTIME. THEY TAKE APART YOUR VEHICLE THEN STOP WORKING ON IT LOSING BOLTS STRIPPING THREADS OUT, THEY DO NOT GIVE BACK ALL THE PARTS FOR YOUR VEHICLE BACK SO YOU HAVE TO RETURN A 2ND AND/OR A 3RD TIME TO GET ALL YOUR VEHICLES PARTS AND SAM WILL TELL YOU TO GET CAR OFF THE PROPERTY DISASEMBLED OR FACE A $20/DAY STORAGE FEE SAM WILL SAY HES GOING TO CALL YOU ABOUT YOUR CAR BUT DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD. IF SAM THINKS HE CAN GET AWAY WITH CHARGING MORE LABOR FOR A REPAIR THEN TIMEBOOK ALLOWS HE WILL. THE SERVICE IS VERY SLOW AND INFERIOR, EMPLOYEES ARE FILTHY AND SO IS THE BUILDING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AND SAM HAS CARS EVERYWHERE LOOKS LIKE A RATS PALACE-CHOP SHOP FOR STOLEN AUTO PARTS JUNKYARD. CARS ON THIER LOT ARE BROKEN INTO AT NIGHT ON THEIR PROPERTY. CURRENTLY I HAVE SPENT ALMOST $900 IN LABOR REPAIRING THESE OIL LEAKS FOR A VEHICLES I PAID $1200.00 FOR I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DIFFERENT AUTO REPAIR SHOP WHO HAS BEEN VERY SYMPATHIC REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF LABOR THEY CHARGE ME. YOU CAN BET I WILL BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE MICHIGAN SECRATARY OF STATE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR DIVISION TRYING TO HAVE Metro Harper Auto Center SHUTDOWN. If I could have, I would have given a negative 5 star rating. We took our vehicle here back in January. We were told it was the head gaskets, so when we got it back, we thought it was fixed. Nope, we were dead wrong. We had to take our car back three times in less than 5 days!!! When we took it a back the third time, we decided our car would no longer go there because it was still overheating. So we went without a car from January until 2 weeks ago when we found out it wasnt the head gaskets. It was a very simple. quick and easy fix which we were charged for, but the part was NEVER replaced. It was still the factory issued part. Plus, the mechanic Mike has an EXPIRED license. Spare yourself the trouble and the money wasted!!! Take your vehicle somewhere else!!!

Ive taken my car to Metro Harper a few times and have been disappointed each time. The owner kept my car for over a week and didnt even look at it! Ive been without a car and he wont return my phone calls. Every time I take my car to him it comes back with a new problem. I would never recommend someone to take their car here because its not worth the money or the hastle.

Oh my god, this guy who runs metro harper sam is the most arrogant jerk ive yet to meet, they dont do work in a timely fashion and if you have anything to say to them about it they cuss you out, thanks a lot metro harper auto repair, ill be sure to never come back to your godforsaken place.

Sam has always looked out 4 me.. hell even drive you home til theyre done with your car.. his prices are fair.. Sometimes he has more work than employees so u may have 2 wait.. Sam himself goes out of his way 2 take of you.
