Planet fitness is probably the worst gym Ive been too. In the middle of winter I got yelled at for having my sweat shirt with me in the gym, if I wasnt wearing it it had to me in the locker room or behind their desk. My job moved me across the state, because of their own incompetent employee gave me bad information I ended up being charged for 2 extra months, and both manager and corporate refused to refund me, even though I had sent in a letter cancelling my service. Also, the manager actually had the nerve to yell at me on the phone when asking for a refund. They obviously dont understand customer service. I was also never refunded my start up fee even though I cancelled my service within 15 days, per their contract. Please, save yourself time and money and go to a gym where you can actually get a good work out in and you dont have to worry about the extremely unfriendly, unethical management.

WAS a customer of pf for years at numerous locations. Never had a problem until just the other day when some pretty boy want to be sherrif took it upon himself to harass me and 5 other people for no reason at all. Worked out at this location for months with no complaints ever with anyone i saw. Then in one day this moron comes in and takes it upon himself to say that myself and all these strangers there are throwin weights around. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANYONE OR ANYTHING THERE UNTIL THIS OVERGROWN CHILD (DISTRICT MANAGER) came in and harassed everyone! Its way too crowded, way too much cleaning all the time. The staff is rude and very immature. THE DISTRICT MANAGER OF THIS GARBAGE COMPANY HARASSED ME FOR NO REASON AT ALL PERIOD. Fine with me pf ill give my money to another gym and so will the other 5 people you decided to harass that day you idiot.

I like Planet Fitness. I workout late, so I rarely have to wait at any gym Ive been at, and never have at PF. Id give 5 stars except for 2 things, 1 minor, 1 major. Minor complaint: Not 24 hours on the weekend, only open 24 hours Monday - Friday, with limited hours Saturday and Sunday. Major complaint: The staff will not (or is not allowed) to change the channels on the televisions. The channels they have showing are very Lowest Common Denominator, and the past two gyms Ive worked out at have either been willing to change the channel, or let you do it yourself. Running for hours on a treadmill is much more pleasant when I can watch Comedy Central or a sitcom on another channel I like, instead of Fox News, ESPN, or CNN. I may start a letter writing campaign. :) Overall though, a great place, and Im glad to have one a mile from home.

Member since it opened a year and a half ago. Situated in half of a former Krogers grocery store, its massive! There are plenty of machines and free-weights, all new as I mentioned. I have never gone there and not been able to get on a piece of exercise equipment because of overcrowding. The elevated ceilings add to the sense of openness and are much appreciated. The locker rooms have ample space. The vastness of the building is a nice feature. I cant say that the choices on the tv screens are all that great, but on the other hand I consider television pretty much a vast wasteland under the best of circumstances so Im not exactly objective... I am a fan of Planet Fitness and this location, being only 7 minutes from my house is great!

The staff in the morning always greats you with a smile. I appreciate that Tanisha has taken the time to remember my name and check me in every morning. The staff is always personal which makes for a great gym. Its usually very clean however I am noticing some items are getting worn down and could use some maintenance or replacing. Hopefully corporate address it soon.

Too bad I moved away, this was the best and cleanest gym Ive been to. People that go here keep to themselves and wash the equipment when theyre done. The employees are the best Ive come across at any gym. Knowledgeable, helpful and inviting. All the equipment is brand new including the tanning beds. Smells clean and fresh inside. By far the best gym Ive been to.

This is not my home location and came here for the day since I was over on this side of the state. The two male workers have been behind the counter staring at me since I got here and even came over to "check on my machine" while I was in between sets. Its awkward and looks like they have nothing better to do. Only have 2 stars because its clean here.

There is a saying ,"you get what you pay for ",and this place is no exception. Kids are not allowed to stay in the gym while waiting for their parents. My kid does not need baby sitting and was just reading a book on lobby while waiting.They were let out of the gym because of that.

Thats funny Shana because the manager yelled at me too. This place treats their customers like garbage. Its the worst gym with terrible customer service. I was charged for extra months also even after I canceled. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

Great place. Its $20 a month. I read the other reviews. I person Says to clean . The next says to dirty. There both wrong. The gym is just right. Try not working out and see how dirty the hospital is after your heart attack. Lol just saying. Ha ha. Keep it moving.

Planet Fitness Novi is the best. It is very clean, spacious with extra friendly staff. Jessica the manager is fantastic. She knows your name and # as you walk in the door and is very helpful. My only complaint is we just need more fans blowing on us.

Very clean and the tanning beds are nice and new. Staff is friendly, Patrick was especially helpful. Planet fitness should be proud to have an employee who goes above and beyond their job title. Glad I got my membership here(:

Friendly staff, big and open, lots of variety, the locker rooms are great, and the black card member relaxation area is much more secluded and... well relaxing than places like the Wixom branch. Lots of parking too!

By far the best Planet Fitness, Ive been too; and Ive been to a lot of them. Its extremely clean, all their equipment is new and perfectly maintained. They offer more machines, and extra equipment

Though not fancy this gym has what I need. It has just enough equipment for all the cardio, weights, stretching space etc...For the monthly amount I pay and the way I use it, it is well worth it.

AWESOME gym. The one in Commerce, MI is spotless and has one of the friendliest PF staffs Ive ever encountered. Definitely recommend for a great gym experience.
