Many upsides to PF. Cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenience are just a few. I only really have two big complaints about PF. One is the lack of free weights/benches as another user mentioned. I work weird hours so many workouts take place during slow times at the gym, but when I want to work out on a week night anywhere between 5pm-9pm, I have to sometimes wait until the free weights or a bench that I need are available, or do another exercise that doesnt require those weights/benches. That can get extremely annoying, not to mention it slows my workout down. I realize that PF is all about making their gyms the least attractive to the body building crowd to make things less intimidating, but an extra rack of free weights isnt going to change anything except in streamlining peoples workouts. There are plenty of people who arent looking to be muscle bound workout bros that want to tone up. My second gripe is that the WiFi is so poor that I cant stream anything on Netflix while Im doing cardio. It streams at the lowest quality for about 5 minutes and then refuses to connect. I realize that 50+ phones all connected to the same network will slow things down, but I never had an issue with this when I was at Golds Gym.

This gym is always clean, has the best price point in the area and has genuinely friendly staff. They are currently working on adding some new things which Im interested in seeing. I use the black card membership and have never had a problem going to another gym, love the massage chairs and the red light booth. Ive never tanned so cant attest to that! The only thing Ill say is there are basically no free weights here, which aligns well with the PF mentality but can be a downside to people trying to build functional muscles and tone. If you dont know what I mean try doing a squat with and without the guiding rack, theres a huge difference in how much work your muscles actually do! The free bagels and pizza are great too, but really dont help me lose weight. Never had a problem here, but the lack of free weights loses it a star for me. Again, this is standard for all PF locations that I know of. If you are looking for something cheap, clean and friendly I definitely recommend this gym.

Although the gym does get a bit busy, I love having this as my home gym. The staff is so incredibly friendly and willing to help out, the Wi-Fi always works perfectly for me, the place is SPOTLESS, the machines are great, and Sharissa (the personal trainer) is AMAZING. I feel very comfortable going here. I do wish they had a bigger variety of machines, but they have machines thatll work every muscle group you have. If you dont like waiting for a piece of equipment, Id suggest planning your day according to the off times (especially with the new year resolutioners). Ive never had to wait for anything, but other people in the reviews apparently have. Planet Fitness has been my go-to gym for years now, and I havent found a gym elsewhere thats as affordable and thorough as Planet Fitness ^__^

This is the fourth Planet Fitness Ive visited in Michigan and it has a bit of a capacity issue. First off, it was the first time in 10 years Ive ever had to wait to use a treadmill (last time being in college at Michigan State where they only had approximately 5), and the arrangement of the machines and the size of the facility made it feel very cramped. Will probably not be visiting this one again unless I happen to be in the area on a Tuesday at 2PM or some other off time.

As a fitness enthusiast for the last 23 years, I’m so proud to now be a member of Planet Fitness-Novi. I have been thoroughly impressed with the gym in all respects. It is a well-run gym with strong leadership. The staff is awesome! The gym is consistently immaculate – absolutely spotless. It has a nice breadth and depth of cardio and weight machines. I highly recommend this gym to fitness gurus, novices, and everyone in between!

Tried going in today to get more information about the memberships. Really I just had a couple questions being Ive been a member before. I was refused information bc I didnt have time for a tour. I was told I had to take the tour to get info or go online for it. Had the answers to my questions been listed online I wouldnt have wasted time on my lunch break to go in. Way to avoid doing your job!

Its good.. Equipment are ample and of very good quality. Basically, the atmosphere over there makes you work out on your body.. You just need to put an effort to be there and the rest will follow. For an update, They have got new equipments last week. My latest update says that some of the newly installed equipments do not function and are out of order..

Ive been working out here since January and it is a great place thats close by! The New Years Resolution rush has died so there are always a good number of exercise machines open now. They also offer classes which I have yet to utilize and Ive run into a few friends here too!

Have worked out at gyms for years. Now that i am older this place is perfect. Tons of equipment, super clean...the equipment is well maintained...they just got a bunch of new equipment. Cant beat the monthly membership fee.
