Im guessing below are just the customers who ONLY go online to place BAD REVIEWS. They are not the type to go out of their way to leave a GOOD review. Anyway, I was just checking the hours of my local store here and was surprised to see ONLY bad reviews on this place. Maybe I just receive VIP service because I have been coming there for years, but that wouldnt necessarily make sense. Because even when I was a NEW customer, I was happy with the service provided. Lets take an example here, I tried to ship an exhaust pipe for my car. USPS said it would cost me about $80 plus the price of a box, and they even guaranteed me that I was wrong and UPS would not do it for cheaper. I went to UPS and they did it for just under $40 and the guy even taped up my package a little better than I did. I will always come back to UPS, even if their price happened to be higher than a competitor. They are always happy to tape something for me or package the whole item FOR me. I can say that I honestly have not experienced ONE of the issues the other reviewers complained about (as of 11/19/13). Im not even sure WHY some of those things are issues. UPS gives away FREE sleeves, so why would it be a problem that they require you to use a UPS labeled sleeve? Its not like youre at USPS and they charge you to use their tape! *I dislike USPS stores because you get what you pay for, the cheapest carrier known to man. *I dislike FedEx, they CANNOT ever get me packages on their expected delivery date. * Also USPS doesnt include FREE $100 insurance like UPS does, I dont believe FedEx does this either.

I too wish I could leave zero stars. 1. If you walk in with a package ready to ship, boxed up, taped, label pre-printed and stuck to box, everyting ready to go...he wants to charge you $2. It costs him nothing, all he has to do is throw it into the pile of packages being picked up each day, but he still wants to charge you a fee. 2. He cant work with 3rd party FedEx shipments. If you have a FedEx account and want to ship on it, he cant do it. For this service I was willing to pay a fee, but hes not even set up for it. What kind of FedEx shipper is this?? I spend a couple thousand dollars each year in supplies and postage. Im happy to pay a local company a few $s more to handle some of this for me. When I like a business, they get my money. Most small companies do the easy things free to get the paid business. Not this guy. He has no idea how to run a successful business. All he does is drive customers away by trying to nickle and dime you. Hes surly. Ive never seen him smile. Go elsewhere. Driving to the post office or a real FedEx shipper takes 5 minutes more, but at least youre not supporting this very unfriendly (and stupid, business-wise) local business.

Recently had an experience with this store... One of my clients shipped an item prepaid for pick up this store. It was shipped here because it was assumed they were the closed pick up location to a job site (which it wasnt) When I arrived, the guy at the counter asked a few questions before being able to identify the package. He expressed the concern that they normally would ship these back (and I understood why). However, he then told me.. BTW its $5.00 to pick this up from me. I refused to pay the amount. My client ended up paying for it because this was several thousand worth of IT parts. I also informed my client of the poor shipping choices. The reason for the one star besides this issue is that the store was small, dingy and didnt feel very clean. The guy wasnt as rude as some other comments have said, but he wasnt the friendliest either. What gets me is that a store owner is going to leave comments and replies like he as on these reviews! That seems like a fast way to close your business! I wont return here and would never use them for anything if I had the choice. PS. Good luck finding them!

Is there such a thing as less than one? They are unethical. When I asked if my label was pre paid, the owner outright lied and said no when I know it was. He Gave me some bull about it only being able to ship prepaid from one place...total lie. I was just testing him. He then charged me a fee to ship an already paid package. I have since found out he was stripped of his UPS Store franchise rights for this illegal practice. So i called and asked him why he did this to me and he responded that he did it so he could stay in business. I told him he was unethical, and like an intimidated 4th grader, he responded with "ooooh, thats a big word!" Lets take note that he denied nothing and outright admitted to overcharging to stay in business. He certainly lost any of my future business and hopefully yours after reading this.

After reading previous reviews and from my recent experience, I am surprised the owner doesnt charge a fee to enter his store. I stopped in for what I thought would be a quick visit to pick up a UPS envelop. I left never to return to this dump. I needed a UPS envelop to ship a letter that Ill soon have pre-paid label for. The worker babbled something about "he" doesnt give away anything for free. I offered to purchase it, he refused. He told me they could package it up for me for $10 and ship it. $10 to stick a letter in an envelop, and put my pre-paid label on it. Really? I told him I was capable of doing that myself and dropping it in a pick up box. He then told me pick up boxes dont exist anywhere. Really?? I went to a REAL UPS store and got five envelops and mailers for FREE!

Avoid this location. My worst customer experience of a lifetime. How can UPS allow a store like this to operate under its name? The owner was rude and unhepful. He went as far as calling other stores to prove I was wrong about something and made me feel like a complete idiot instead of trying to help me. Basically called me a liar. I ship heavy items with a large account all the time and have never had this problem in any other UPS store. He just lost a lot of potential business as this store would have been ideal for me to ship 50 to 70 pound items multiple times a month

As you will see with all other objective reviews this place is owned by scam artists and hateful staff/owners. They are not only unprofessional and inappropriate they are illegally charging for FedEx envelopes. When asked about the fact they are illegally reselling envelopes they suddenly stated that they were actually charging for tape. The minute you walk in the small owner pretends hes a tough guy and I laughed at what a tool this guys is.

One star rating is too kind. Business practices are poor. Agree completely with other comments in unnecessary charges for prepaid labels in packaged items. Was told to go to Pontiac depot if not wanting to pay this $2 fee. That is false- instead go to Milford location with no unnecessary fees. Charged for copy machine after child hit button...and he kept the (blank) paper. Go elsewhere.
