Im really surprised by the other reviews for Suburban Collision Center as my experience was terrific. Normally I do my own work because I enjoy DIYing, however there are some things a DIYer cant do without specialized and very expensive equipment, so a professional needs to be called. After calling several shops and speaking with them about the tweaked frame on my classic Porsche (85 928S aka Big Red), I decided to go with Suburban Collision. I went with Suburban Collision not because they were the cheapest, but because they seemed to be the most knowledgeable. I had another quote for almost 30% cheaper from another shop, but after speaking with their frame guy I didnt feel confident he could do the job correctly. Todd, the frame guru at Suburban Collision is very knowledgeable and is very passionate about cars which gave me the confidence that they could do the job right. I sure wasnt disappointed when it came time to pick the car up! Todd did a phenomenal job on my car and was able to go above and beyond my expectations. I was really impressed with Todds knowledge and how detailed oriented he is. The car came out great and the price was very reasonable. Thanks again Todd! Chris and Duane were also key guys in making sure everything went smooth. Duane is "old school" Porsche and has been around since the 924 days and his knowledge in these older Porsches is impressive. Duane also donated some fender tape to Big Reds cause. Thanks buddy! I was really impressed with both the service and quality of work from the whole team at Suburban. I would have no problem recommending Suburban Collision to my friends and family! Thanks again for getting the frame on Big Red (85 928S) straighten out! Dan

Used to be Fischer Body and back then I was really impressed as not only did they do a great repair after my Accord was rear ended, but they also thoroughly cleaned inside and out - Great job! Unfortunately I had two cars in for repair within two weeks of each other. Both took far longer to repair than I thought they would. One going to a full 30 days and the second pretty close. Both times I took a $4 hit on rental per day over my allowance. The repair work was fine however, pretty much everything else was sub-par from them failing to call back when they said they would to the exterior of the cars not being clean and finger prints on the inside door pillar on one of them. Their associates even came across as having a degree of arrogance. Bottom line; took way too long, lack of customer service, poor attention to detail such as cleaning the car exterior. Compared with the old company like night and day. Next time I’ll find somewhere else.

By far the worst experience I have ever had in getting a car fixed. Original estimate of 4 weeks became 10, absolutely no accountability from their representatives for anything through the entire process. Good luck on getting them to call you back as they routinely do not return calls and when they the typical response I would get from them was they were doing me a favor taking my money to fix my car. If you care about your car or service youll receive I would strongly suggest going someplace else.

My insurance company recommended this collision shop and I felt they communicated well and were polite and professional. They were a little slow and returning my calls (a couple of days which may reflect the work load at the time) but once on the case, were responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, my care ended up totaled so I cannot speak to work quality, only interactions. They did clean my car out for me and hold my things for me to come. Overall, cant complain.

They did a fantastic job with my car. Needed my front bumper replaced and had a very deep dent above my right rear wheel well. Instead of replacing the very big and expensive panel, they repaired it. It looks brand new; like it never happened. With how bad it was, I expected to be able to see some minor damage left over, but it was flawless. They called me several times to give me updates and time estimates. It took two weeks, but that wasnt a problem for me.

I went to get an estimate on Monday. It is now Friday. I called my insurance company and they had not received the estimate yet. I called Fischers and they had no recollection of my estimate. Somebody did my estimate. I asked them if they could ask the guy who did my estimate where it was, but they said I will need to bring it back in for another estimate. Next time, I will remember to get a copy of the estimate.

Ive been with Hartford for almost 14 years and have never had a bad experience. I consider the body work as excellent. Personnel were timely and professional. I have recommended three people to Hartford and they are very happy with the service. Had to wait one week for an appointment but that was due to weather related accidents and an indication that business is good. Try Hartford!!! Great experience.

The work on my car was done reasonably well, however the job was quoted as 2 weeks and it took 3.5 weeks before finished. None of this was communicated to me until I called to ask why it was taking so long. While my car was under the shops care, some dirt ball decided to go shopping inside my car and stole my ipod and a few other items. I would recommend finding another shop to do your collision repairs.

It took so long to repair and the cost was about what we paid for the car. The car didnt look that damaged and they said there was a lot of internal damage??? I dont know how they got our insurance company to pay the amount it cost to repair it vs. what we had paid for the car. I felt like something underhanded was going on.

Very bad experience. customer service not good at all. Super slow. I dropped my vehicle on Monday with 3-4 days estimate. Its now 9 days, they are still working on. I almost called them 2-3 times. Every time I am calling to know progress, they are saying end of today or tomorrow. Dont think of going there.

Takes forever to repair your car. Never call you to update you. I recently took my car there, where it sat for 1 week, allegedly waiting for my insurance company to approve repairs. Just spoke with my insurance company and the shop never called them. Complete liars. Take your car elsewhere.

Took a little while to get my car repaired, but I see why. There was quite a bit of damage, but the car looks like it just came off the assembly line. Kudos to Jerry for seeing this through and the outstanding communication he maintained with me. I always knew what was going on. Thanks!

I gave my car here like 3 months ago .every day I call them to check whether it is ready .they will tell it will be for in 2 days . This process continued. For 1 month and but yet my car is not ready . Now they are telling they need new parts . So careless worst experience ever
