Moving crew was great -- fast and efficient!!! On the other hand, company was wayyyyy over priced on costs per hour ($152.00/hour) and likes to nickel and dime their customers for the basics in operating a business. Unfortunately, we were in a pinch and looked at the excessive charges as a two-day emergency service call, which was an easier pill for us to swallow. On top of the hourly moving charge, company charged us an additional $29.75 for gas, plus an hour and a half drive time to and from location (drive time would have been 1 hour and 10 minutes tops), and a credit card convenience fee (a whopping $30 bucks) IF using a credit card. Personal checks are not accepted with this establishment, although I have used personal checks in the past with other moving companies! Even with a merchant account charging 3%, it wouldnt have come up to $30. Therefore, the service charge for credit card use was unacceptable, and higher than a normal merchant account fee, even with a manual credit card entry as opposed to swiping a credit card. I have a merchant account so I would know. Most merchant accounts charge 2.5%. My final bill was $739.75 so I paid cash with large bills and two 20s. I was owed a quarter. Since the company was nickel and diming me, I wanted my quarter back. Hey, money is money. Sorry, Im a man of principle if Im going to be nickel and dimed like this! Driver (Crew chief) did not even have a quarter to give me change back. And you guessed it...I wanted it and he had to walk to a gas station in order to make change. Hey, I had to drive to my ATM so whats fair is fair! They would not unload their truck until I paid the total bill even after I left to go to my ATM and get cash. Cash had to be in hand! Not sure what type of clientele this company is accustomed to, but very unfortunate that they insinuate all customers as criminals. Surprised they did not charge me additional time for me having to drive to the bank and retrieve cold hard cash. I did tip each mover (there were three) $20 bucks. I would have tipped more, but honestly I was a bit perturbed! Perhaps EZ Moving should be able to make change if they are going to nickel and dime their customers to the penny, and also include in their hourly rate the cost of potty breaks, sneeze breaks, shower breaks, etc. Two Men and a ----- doesnt even charge this high of an hourly rate, or nickel and dime customers like this. Absolutely ridiculous! Success in business is separating yourselves from the majority of your competitors. If your claim is that all moving companies do this, that is not an excuse because not all charge like this. For future reference, nickel and diming is a complete turn off. If you want to charge for unnecessary charges like this, then perhaps you need to include it in your base rate so the customer doesnt see it. Unfortunately, we will not be using this company again!

So upset!! I never bother with reviews but this is so bad I had to take the time... NEVER use this company!!! Worst is @ the end of my review! Movers showed up and didnt even know they were supposed to pack my belongings, didnt have enough or right boxes.... After they put stuff in my storage unit the unit was packed so poorly I was unable to even get into unit.... 3 months later I bought a house and brought everything from unit home.... ALL kinds of things were broken.... One box contained Dirty work boots that were put on top of my dress wool coat then tin foil and zip lock kitchen stuff was on top of boots, nothing in between those things ... Everything off my dresser, cast mold of my sons hand and foot from 11 yrs ago all kinds of glass crystal stuff kids have given my for mothers day, large jewelry box were all just thrown in the bottom of my laundry basket unwrapped then painting kids did put on top and worst of all a tiny ring box that held my wedding ring (just got divorced) a gold chain gold cross and tiny gold hoop earrings (all from ex) is no where to be found!! Large diamond was a registered diamond so hopefully they will try to hock and get caught.. I took pictures of everything, but EZ moving said I only had 30 days to file a complaint. If my stuff is packed in storage how could I know they stole from me & did such a bad job packing until I unpacked 3 months later....... Ive NEVER sued anyone, frankly I believe in karma but Im so discussed with this company Im actually considering small claims... DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

I had a wonderful experience, all three guys Andy, Nolan & Justin were on time, very professional, friendly & took very good care of my furniture , they answered all my questions to my satisfaction and moved my furniture to EZ Storage warehouse facility for couple months of storage. The driver Andy covered all the forms clearly page by page , so when I am ready to have my furniture moved from your EZ Storage to my new house, I would like to have the same crew above to handle moving my furniture. I had a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend EZ moving & storage to my family & friends, great job guys

Had excellent service during the middle of May. Quick, efficient, service driven and no damage to my belongings. My two movers (James and Ray) were delightful, had a good attitude and dynamic. All in all, couldnt have asked for a better move. Quote was accurate and price was competitive with everywhere else I checked. Edit: Lindsay was great to work with on the scheduling and customer service side. She readily answered my questions and made me comfortable with the whole process. This meant a lot as this was my first move with a moving company.

This was my first time using a moving company so I had a list of questions in my mind. Yet I didnt have to ask one of them since Rebecca the Customer Service Representative gave detail information about the crew and when they would arrive. Then I was given options on the way to make a payment. The five stars were given for the employees friendliness, the drivers arrived quick at both locations and unloaded fast. All of my items were undamaged. Thanks for a great move.

This moving company was the best experience I ever had in moving. They were very professional, handled all my furniture with care, and even made it through a narrow door space with out scratches, dents, or scuffs on the walls. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best price. I want to thank EZ Moving for helping me out, and I appreciate all the hard work the staff does.

My wife and I wanted to take a moment to write and thank you so much for a wonderful moving experience and for hiring excellent staff at EZ Moving & Storage. Dave and Bob were very kind, professional, and careful throughout my entire move from Ann Arbor to Waterford MI. They quickly got the job done and the only casualty was a kitchen dish that neither my wife nor I liked! Please be sure to give Dave & Bob a raise for a job well done!
