I took my car here for an oil change and tire rotation today and I feel very good about it. The value was excellent--the special was $24.99, which includes the oil change, new filter, tire rotation, Midas Touch courtesy check, etc. There were no hidden shop fees or disposal fees or anything like that. The employees I encountered were very pleasant, and when the car was done the man at the front desk went over the written results with me. I dont know a lot about cars but I dont feel like anyone tried to take advantage of that, and I think I got a good deal and my car was well taken care of. Very thorough and helpful!

I was taking my daughter out for a day of fun when I heard a thump and then something went wrong with the brakes on my car. I quickly pulled into this location. Where I encountered Jessie and explained to him what happened. He told me that they would get it right in and see what was going on. The bolt on my passenger side caliper came out, which caused it to jam my brakes. He told me that they would get it fixed up for me. They had me in and out in under a hour. They were amazing and we were able to continue our day of fun. We will defiently be back to have any work done in the future.

I just want to point out that 2 of the negative reviews are not even for Midas, but for Suburban Saturn/Suburban Auto. Not sure why they were linked to Midas. I dont know what someone was talking about an $85 charge just to look at their car, because I know they do many inspections for free. Sure, they charge to diagnose and test certain things, but if it takes them an hour to test wiring and computers to make sure the right part is being replaced, I dont see a problem with that. Every shop Ive seen does that, aside from just pulling a code.

I know that this may not make any difference with Saturn not being purchased but, I want to let people know NOT to purchase any vehicles from the "Saturn Run" Suburban Collection that is on 29th street behind the 28th street Saturn dealership in Grand Rapids. I purchased an Impala a couple of months ago, mechanically sound, but an electrical nightmare. Several times Ive tried to contact my salesman and his boss, with no help what-so-ever. So, just be aware that they are "used car salesmen" through and through.

Saturn dealerships in West Michigan are sketchy, dishonest, and full of people working full-time just cover up their mistakes. Dont trust the mechanics who are employed by them, even if you own a Saturn. They have a poor quality of work - and will do further damage on your vehicle. There is a reason the Saturn of Holland closed down, other than the economic recession. Put your money towards a vehicle where the engine will last more than 40,000 miles!

My car had to be towed in because it would not accelerate. The guys at Midas went above and beyond to make sure they were honest and helpful with the repairs. They discovered the repair that was needed was outside of what they were capable of repairing. They waived the diagnostic fee and were more than happy to let my car hang out at the shop until I was able to make it back into town to pick it up and bring it to another shop!

I received a quote for a repair of a catalytic converter from this shop. They quoted me over $500 for parts when the part cost $240. The entire repair with labor was quoted at over $650. I had it done at another Midas in Grand Rapids for $350 with tax. My advice is call NAPA or a few other places like Muffler Man to find out how much the parts cost. Then negotiate.

These people are great. I came in close to the end of the day and asked if they had time to do an oil change, tire rotation and put in a new brake light. Not only were they super nice about squeezing me in at the end of the day, they completed all of that in like 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

I snapped two wheel bolts on my car, when i brought it to them they said the bolts could only be found at a imports part store for $27 each, and it would take 2 hours of labor. I went to advance auto parts and got the bolts for $2 each and it took 45 minutes, and Im not even a mechanic.

Allen and his crew are amazing. They give you good rates, are straight forward and honest with you, and you can trust their opinion and work. I had a repair take way longer than expected. The guy stayed way over night to fix the car and get it to me on time.

They worked me into an already full schedule, Allen was extremely friendly, the cost was 25% less than my dealership for brakes, and were great about price quotes and questions over the phone. Ill be going back for regular service!
