Update: We recently completed a move with Preferred, after having stored an apartments worth of furniture and other belongings with them for over a year. All of our items were well cared for…nothing was missing, broken, or damaged in storage or during the move itself. We are extremely pleased that we chose to work with this company. Arranging the move with Cheryl was simply and straightforward. The company thoroughly explained how the cost of the move would be calculated and stuck to the quote, which was very reasonable. We felt the movers, Bob and Zack, were superstars! They worked quickly and efficiently, even under extreme heat conditions. They were very accommodating and handled all of our belongings with care. Working with Preferred Moving was more than a pleasant experience and Bob and Zack made the day fun! We would highly recommend Preferred to family, friends, and anyone who like to have a stress-free move. Previous review: Just wanted to say what a fantastic experience I had with Preferred. I couldn’t be happier with the move! The entire process was stress-free and simple to arrange. Everyone I worked with at Preferred was very professional and friendly too. The storage is much more cost effective than self-serve storage units I have used in the past. I’m 100% confident that my belongings are being well-cared for. Hands down, I would recommend Preferred to everyone I know!

My wife and I had a nightmare experience with them. The movers were very nice and worked hard, but unfortunately management did a poor job of planning. They quoted us for 12 hours and the job took 20. The worst part is the workers were allowed to work from 8 a.m. until 2 a.m., completely inconveniencing my family. The workers were so exhausted that many of my things were not put in correct places and were not put back together. I had boxes labeled fragile that had boxes piled on top of them. I dont know if theyre not able to handle a large job, which mine was. The thing that made me most angry was that Henry was not willing to budge much on price even after admitting how screwed up everything was. We finally agreed at a reasonable price, but I still dont feel like I got any kind of a discount for my problems.

Our experience in moving from Michigan to Wisconsin in the winter with Preferred Moving and Storage was first class and seamless. Being that it was winter, very cold and snowing, they were extremely careful in making sure carpeting at the old house and new condo were covered so as not to damage the carpet with salt, ice and snow. They were very professional and pleasant. The driver took care of our belongings as if they were his own. They were veru quickly and efficiently despite the cold weather they had to deal with. When, if we move again, I would certainly call them to move us and would recommend them to anyone else.

All of the staff are pleasant, hard working and a true team. They all worked together to ensure my move was completed in the amount of time committed. This was our first moving experience- I will never use another moving company! Preferred Moving & Storage was extremely professional and accomodating. Shawn coordinated our move, and explained everything very clearly. This company truly cares about their clients. I felt stress-free and in-the-loop throughout the entire process. On top of that, they gave us a great price. Cant beat that! And they did a great job moving us in- no damage whatsoever and the moving guys were courteous and friendly. Highly recommend!

Preferred Moving did an excellent job. No breakage, no mess, and cheerful and competent people as well. The packer, Donna, packed everything so well that even the most fragile pieces arrived safely. The driver, Bob, did everything to make us feel secure with the move. We had just finished caring for my invalid father, so we appreciated the kindness and patience of all concerned. We already have recommended them to neighbors.

We just completed a cross country move handled with perfection by Preferred Moving & Storage. From the first inquiry phone call, to the final pick up of boxes and packing paper (so much!), our move was coordinated with professionalism and obvious expertise. I was very happy with my move with Preferred Moving. They came in and packed my entire apartment and made sure that everything was packed correctly so that nothing would get broken. The crew was very polite and professional and took the time to make sure that everything was taken care of and that I knew what was going on with my move. I cant thank the staff enough for making my move so easy! I recommend this company!

We used Preferred Moving & Storage when we moved our office a few weeks ago and it was great. The move could not have gone smoother. The men that they sent out were very pleasant to be around and very nice. They were also patient when we asked them to keep moving furniture around so we could figure out how we wanted it. This company was a nightmare!!!!!!! So many problems I could write a book, but the worse part is that the owner refuses to even discuss or deal with the many things his employees did wrong, which is unbelievable. They were not only incompetent, but uncaring, rude, disrespectful, & insulting, especially to a senior citizen. You will be very sorry if you use them.

Henry and his crew have always done a great job for us. They are careful, quick, and well prepared. Henry usually is available to do an on site inspection and make sure everything will go smoothly. He also told us that he is certified for military moves and is inspected regularly for compliance. This should always be your first call for your moving needs.

I would highly recommend this company. Jon Paul and Bob Meyers handled the move. They were careful, courteous, cheerful and quick. Both were patient with moving furniture around in the new place. Even with some rearranging in the new place, the move was still faster than I thought it would be. They truly deserve the 5 stars.

What a pleasure! The friendly company president actually comes out and does the quotes. Everyone on the phone is very pleasant. The movers were kind and funny and handled everything with care. Nothing was damaged. They made sure furniture was placed correctly and that all items went to the proper rooms. Great company!!
