Used to go to them all the time. However, I took my car in for a loose vacuum hose, they fix that but then the hood of my car is smoking. They say the oil filter is leaking oil onto the exhaust so they just put it back. I even have them do basic checks to avoid any random other mishaps. I get my car back and it still is producing smoke and tons of fluid everywhere(!) I know sometimes random stuff happens, but it seems they were not very thorough in finding and/or fixing the problem to begin with. Not offering to pay for towing when I called about it either rubbed me the wrong way. If they decide to take care of me since Ive brought my car in twice now, maybe Ill change my review. But as it stands its getting sketchy. Update: Tool was left under my hood. Fell to the ground after being mostly melted. Unbelievable. Also, it was transmission fluid NOT oil that was leaking originally they were just too lazy to take the time to actually service their customers. (!)

Car broke down so I decided to try a place closer than my usual mechanic. I come back the next to see what they have found when in fact they couldnt locate the problem and only had a suggested solution which would take a few days to repair. I said I would rather take it to my mechanic I usually go to in which they said they were charging me a fee which wouldnt even go towards the repair even if I stayed at this location. They then lied and said they told me about the fee from the beginning which is completely untrue. Had I known this I wouldnt have gone in the first place but their dishonesty took the rein. The supervisor Steve was also condescending to me over the phone when I was asking questions about what was going on with my vehicle. Took it to my mechanic and had the problem diagnosed in an hour and fixed by the next morning. Absolute waste of money going here. Provided me with nothing but a negative experience.

Honesty and Integrity! I chose AE based on positive online reviews, and those reviews were accurate -- I was SO pleased with the service. They are honest, reliable and fast! The local Ford dealer quoted me $587 for a repair to my 2008 Ford Edge A/C blower motor, and AE repaired it for under $250 -- and that included a repair to the rear windshield wiper as well! They only replaced the parts that truly needed replacement (not all of the parts the dealer had quoted), which really decreased the cost of the repair. It is so hard to find an HONEST auto repair shop that only performs the repairs that are truly necessary without taking advantage of a customer with limited mechanical knowledge, but I have finally found one. I will definitely return to AE Auto for repairs in the future, and I would highly recommend AE for anyone seeking an honest and reasonably-priced repair facility.

I first brought my car to them about a year ago because i heard good things about them and saw they had great reviews. Let me tell you- these guys are the best! I drive a 25 year old Volvo and its hard to find someone that is reliable and willing to work on it. Theyve always been honest and up front about all repairs and are very reasonably priced; cheaper than anywhere else and QUALITY work. Now i only take my car to them when it needs servicing. Even when theyre busy, they usually find time even to just look at your car so at least you know what to expect before they get to work. Dont trust your cars with anybody else, take them to AE!

Well I went to them for service on my van; they were the upmost professional. I wanted work done and was willing to pay the $1000 plus to do so; unfortunately they wouldnt allow me, to have work done that apparently didnt need it and or needed right away. The communications were awesome, especially when sometimes I can be considered to be over worried and having lots of questions. At the end of the day, only what was necessary was done and cost me a 3rd of what I was willing to pay. I am great full and will continue to do business here as long as the service remains patient and honest as they were with me this week! Thumbs up guys!

Needed a headlight replaced and for literally the same cost as it was to get my headlight replaced a couple months ago someplace else, I got my headlight changed, oil changed, complete inspection, two other lights replaced, fluids topped off and my car was done while I waited in like an hour. Never before have I run across such fair prices and awesome service. I got very lucky finding this place and my car will never be serviced again by anyone except these folks....... I drive my car all the way from Plymouth to take it here and I probably pass 25 other auto service centers on the way!

From dropping the car off thru picking it up, the service is great! I have had work done on all of my vehicles and referred others there as well. Steve is great and does a fantastic job explaining the problems and options to fix it. Ive compared prices and they are very competitive. The most important piece is their honesty! While I was convinced I had an issue with my mini-van they assured me it was fine. They couldve easily found a problem and charged me for it but they didnt, instead Steve sent me on my way, without charging me for the diagnosis.....he knows Ill be back!

Great team of people. Front desk Service guys are top notch. One of them even came out and jumped my car to get me there when my alternator was having issues. Unfortunately, we had some miscommunication about the services I expected from them and a couple things we left undone and a bit below standard. However, I brought it to their attention (actually long after the fact) and they were quick to make it right with a very fair partial refund on one of the parts. I left satisfied even though I think I found another shop Ill keep visiting otherwise.

I began taking my Solstice there about 4 years ago for a heater issue (the resister melted and they had to rewire)...less than $100 later, I was on the road. Now everyone in my family takes their car there for repairs, no matter the extent. Every review Ive read talks about their honesty, and I can truly say I agree. They do not try to rip you off, and Steve explains, in detail, the repairs to be performed before doing so. From sports cars to SUVs, A&E is the place to go for trustworthy and reliable service.

Never had such a horrible experience in my life. It was to the point I felt so belittled I was standing there being talked down to with tears in my eyes. I ended up taking the quote they gave to my typical oil change place and they informed me they put codes in that werent really there and tried to over charge me $400+ AND tried to charge me for work I did not approve of prior. Long story short, this place is dishonest and I would NEVER go back. Buyer beware!

I brought my old F150 into the shop because I could not change the heating dial from cold to hot so the car was only blowing cold air. I thought this would be a major problem but when they called me it was only an $18 repair for a new knob. They could have really taken advantage of me but were honest about it. I take my vehicles in there all the time now because I feel I can trust them. Great service, friendly people, and after hour drop off too helps!!
