I have been going to see James and Ron at Livonia Auto for years. They were on the list of recommended mechanics from the Car Talk guys. They did a great, reasonably price job that one time and Ive been going back ever since. I have had 3 different cars serviced by them, I have bought a used car from them and Ive recommended them to several people who all have had the same experience. These guys are honest, reasonable and dont try to do add ons. If you dont need something, they will be the first person to tell you. They will review work orders from other places and either match or beat the price. They also sell brakes, shocks, and tires. I cant say enough about how good they are. If you take your car to them, you wont be sorry.

Ron spent a good chunk of time just explaining the path that would be taken to resolve the issues, and the actual work didnt stray from that one bit.
