I am a newer customer, but will not go anywhere else now. They are honest and fair, and their prices are reasonable. They have discouraged me from having unnecessary work several times, even if I insist that the "brake is sounding weird." My son needed a new engine (of course this is JUST after buying it and being told the car was fine) and I was so worried. However, Tony explained all the different ways I could go about it, found a great used engine at a reasonable price when I said "Cheapest way possible" and nothing has gone wrong with it. Every time I come in for a small job, he checks up on the engine and asks if were still okay. This is not a "Fix it for the most expensive price possible, add on more extras, and we dont care if we never see you again" type of car repair shop, which is how many shops have been in my lifetime. They want your car fixed right for a reasonable price and they want you to come back, so they care about what they do. Thats why, in my experience, they have always fixed whats wrong the first time and I have never returned for the same problem.

We have been taking our vehicles here for 8 years and they have always done excellent work. The cost is always half of what the dealer charges and they go out of their way to make sure the repair is done the right way including getting special parts from the dealer. On several occasions I have asked to have things repaired and they have discouraged the unnecessary repairs and saved me a lot of money. I was just there yesterday and the fluid change in my AWD system was half as much as Buick wanted to charge me. This included them driving to the Buick dealer to pick up the special fluid. Between myself and my business they service all six of our vehicles of all different makes. I personally would not trust the negative reviews as I have always found them to be fair and honest and have worked with them for a long time over the years with all our different vehicles. Lincoln Street is the best mechanic in the area.

First want to say that I am extremely satisfied with the work they provided. I Took my 1999 Volkswagen Jetta here to have my alternator replaced which they did in roughly a day. Tony even threw in a new serpentine belt and replaced some melted electrical wires. Great shop and great people! I initially wasted $60+ dollars having my car towed to the Belle Tire on Carpenter Road after being told over the phone that they could do the work in two and a half hours. Once I got my car to Belle Tire they tried to hook me for a new battery even though I had just brought one two weeks ago. After I was able to get another battery for free from Advanced Auto Parts using the batteries warranty, they called me back half an hours later, "throwing their hands up" and saying there was nothing they could do. Long story short I took it to Lincoln Street Garage and wish I had done so sooner. Will definitely recommend you guys.

Consumer beware! They said they do not guarantee their work after a serpentine belt they replaced shredded in a week and a half. They said that Vance Auto Parts would not take it back so they werent going to do anything about it either. When asked if they guarantee their work they said "no". They have no explanation for what happened as everything about the truck seems fine. I have always recommended them, but no more! To bad, we were going to have them do $1300.00 of maintenance just to keep the Escape up to snuff, but someone else will get our money. Bad business practices.

I have gone to them for years. They have THE best prices in the area for the quality of service. I havent ever had to return my car for the same problem. Nor have I incurred any new ones during repairs. Very fast to have the work done. Friendly and approachable staff. I like the personal touch of décor at the new location, but I will miss them being in Ypsi. Ill still take my car to Milan though. I highly recommend them to everyone I know. If youre in need of car repairs, and in search of a trustworthy and consistent mechanic, youll want these guys.

I discovered Tony when he was in Ypsilanti on Lincoln .it was nice to find a reputable garage.went to the shop one day it was gone . I was so sad. Took a while but I was telling a friend how I wish he hadnt closed .I was informed he moved to Milan . My van is there now. Once again happy. Got me in fairly quickly .getting caught up on maintainance now.

Lincoln Street Auto quoted me literally half what the local Ford dealer quoted me to remove and replace the fuel pump in my Grand Marquis. Quote was accurate and repair was completed in a timely fashion with my car was back on the road in less than a day. Ill be back. Highly recommended!

The quality of the work is good. They seem like nice guys too. I just found too many overly expensive repairs from this garage in a row to keep going back. The most recent of which came in at 80% over what a competing garage charged me. If it seems overly expensive, get a second opinion.

Its too bad you cant give 0 stars. Had a free brake inspection, was told I needed rear brakes and the price was overly expensive. Took a look myself, bunch of scam artists! Nothing was wrong, apparently they cant diagnose the actual problem that did exist.. with the front brakes.

I brought my 99 Alero here and they did a great job. I got directed here by chance and was really nervous because I dont know anything about cars or repair shops in the area. I would definitley recommend taking your car here.
