They over-charge for parts, I will not use them again. I had an alternator belt snap on me, so they had OReilly bring a new one to replace mine. On the receipt the part is marked as $38.86 + $6.35 shop supplies (what?). On top of this they initially charged me for 1 hour of labor - I was there on site and it took about 30 minutes. My initial bill from them was $140...for a belt change. I scoffed at the price and Karen was nice enough to drop it down to 3/4 of an hour labor, but the same part price. My total came to $116 with tax. I called OReilly immediately after leaving as I used to work on cars and knew $40 for a belt was too much - the same belt, was $10.99. Never again. Had it just been 3/4 of an hour labor (or even the hour) + a fair price on the part, I would have been a happy customer. But to charge me almost 4xs the amount for the part is not cool. I called my normal shop, although an hour away, their rate for the same service is $89, including the part.

Recently passing through Milford, a headlight went out, and needed it replaced before heading on further into snowy weather. I bought a part locally, but it was too cold to do the work myself outdoors. I stopped by Downtown Garage, which was extremely busy that Mon. a.m. But, they worked my car in within about 15 minutes, installed the new bulb, but then declined the charge me, since it took them less than 15 min. All the while, they were very pleasant! I will return for any car repair needs when in Milford area. Thanks!

Downtown Garage in Milford recently worked on my daughter’s car and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Karen and her staff explain what needs to be done and how much it will cost. If it doesn’t need to be done that day or can wait, they’ll tell you that. In short, they are honest and not trying to drive up your bill. Jim Olari is not only an honest mechanic, but he is an awesome guy too. He is very personable and treats you like hes known you for decades. Every time I take my car to him to get repaired, he gives me honest answers and gives me very reasonable prices. He is one of the only mechanics around here that I trust. I would recommend him to anyone! If you are in need of a repair, foreign or domestic, take your car to Olaris auto repair!

The best garage in Milford. I have dealt with them on a few occasions with both my vehicles and always had a good experience. John & Bob are very good at explaining the problem and what they have to do to fix it. Karen was very helpful on coordinating my vehicle pick up and getting me squeezed in to look at my muffler before a weekend trip. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was having a terrible time getting my air conditioning fixed on my 2010 Ford Escape. The dealership kept telling me it was fixed and it never worked. I took it to the Downtown Garage in Milford, MI and they diagnosed the problem first time dancing circles around the Ford dealership mechanics. Kudos to you guys, you will always be my "GO-TO" mechanics!

Never in my life have I experienced such amazing service. Brought my Impala in at 4:00 on a Friday, and had it diagnosed and repaired an hour and a half later. And the repair cost was less than that I got over the phone. Best shop around. Very honest people. If I could reccomend this shop to someone I definitely would. You wont be disappointed.

Not good. After 2 visits to explain what I want done and receiving an estimate and leaving the truck with them for the day to have o-rings replaced to fix a leak I was told the service could only be done by a transmission shop. Im out $65 in parts and no work done to replace the o-rings yet pan was pulled. So frustrating!

I had my suv serviced at Olaris today and the service was amazing! I highly recommend Olaris to anyone and honestly can say Olaris auto repair is the best repair shop Ive ever been to. Its a great feeling knowing if I ever have car problems I will know exactly who to call.
