If I could give a negative star rating I would! First of all I am not just some disgruntled customer looking to seek keyboard side revenge. There is a real problem with this post office location! The story goes I was away for a week and my mail accrued to the point the mail deliverer would not put it in my mailbox ( I know shame on me for not filling out the form). The problem was I received nothing after that. I called, I left messages, I left messages inside the mailbox but nothing was delivered. I happened to glance at the back of my box ad it was marked VACANT by the mail delivery person! I removed that tag and left a note stating to continue delivery because I still live here. The mail actually got delivered the next day, but then quickly stopped after that. I had a note in my mailbox from the mail carrier to call a number ask for a supervisor and schedule redelivery. This was my doing originally, so I tried to do exactly that. The number given on the note from the mail carrier went to a phone number that was never answered, only a voicemail option. I know this to be the case because I called it 30 or so times on different times and dates! I called the 1-800 number and explained the issue, in which they issued a confirmation number on my case. I was told mail delivery would start the next business day......days go by still no mail. So now I decide I am going to go to the Post Office to pick up my mountain of mail and find out what is going on. I get there only to find out I have absolutely no mail and was told it was possibly thrown out! I was also told my mail delivery person was "very particular and by the book" and would return and/or throw out mail exceeding 10 days old. This prompted me to ask where my package from Amazon was that said it reached this exact USPS location 4 days ago. She said she did not see anything at all in the back and it was either returned or thrown out. THROWN OUT!?! Can you even do that? I realize my error here was leaving for a week without notifying the postal service. But I have not been able to get mail for 2 weeks since my return and no one seems to know whats going on! I was supposed to get a call by the supervisor of this facility to straighten this all out.....that was several hours ago and I have no hope of receiving that call. I tried calling the location but waiting for an operator the phone hangs up on you and trying to reach the Post Masters secretary it hangs up on you ( those are your only two options)! There is literally no way to leave a message at this facility! I cannot believe that in this day and age my personal mail is being destroyed and/or held hostage by my own postal carrier. This is beyond ridiculous and I am at wits end with this whole scenario. I used to be a strong advocate for keeping the postal service alive and well, but if this is a microcosm of what this federal institution can do, I say put the funds into something a little more helpful to the public good, because this facility most certainly is not.

On 10/29/2012 I purchased overnight service from the US Post Office located at 155 S Main St Mt Clemens, MI 48046 and I was assured that my package would arrive the next day (10/30/2012). Mind you, the storm Sandy had already occurred and if there was a problem with being able to deliver my mail the next day as guaranteed I should have been told at the point. It was not until I checked the tracking number EI 557965624 US that I found that my mail did not reach it’s destination until 10/31/2012. I called someone at the post office and they told me to request a PS form to request a refund. I did just that and went to the post office to give it to them. A male clerk took my paperwork and went in the back and came out with a letter that he stated he was told by his supervisor to give to customers requesting a refund on next day delivery. I would like to first say that he was very polite, and he provided the letter that said something to the effect that due to the natural disaster of Hurricane Sandy refunds would not be given. He also gave me a telephone number and told me to call the supervisor and explain my side of the story. I don’t have a problem with the natural disaster causing the mail to be delayed, but what I do have a problem with is why wouldn’t they have told me that before I purchased next day delivery service that they could not deliver on so I could have just bought a regular postal stamp at .45 cents, or whatever the cost is now? I believe that I was deceived by having me think that my mail would arrive the next day and no mention of Hurricane Sandy was ever made while I was making the purchase. I know that this may not get me a refund either, but one thing you can rest assured of is that I will never purchase next day delivery from a US Post Office ever again and I will be sure to also let my friends, family and church congregations know also. Especially since I have an obligation to do so since I am the pastor!

If i could give this place a zero i would. Other then the last few drivers that have been on my business rout i have a LONG list of complaints but lets just talk about how the incompetent employee just cost me over $2,000. I sell a high volume of products on ebay. My tracking information must be uploaded within 24 Hours to keep my top rated seller status witch comes with a %20 discount of Fees, Shipping ext... witch equals to about $750.00-1,000 in savings a month. On 1/3/2017 My mail carrier picked up my packages. I kindly asked her to scan the packages. She politely said yes sure i will do that. I explained to her that if she doesnt it could cost me and my business a lot of money and if a package gets lost that is not scanned i will basically be S.O.L. So she says yeah i will scan the, Can anyone guess what she did not do. SCAN THE PACKAGES. Now i have over 20 packages that equal to over $2000 that have not been scanned and wont be scanned until they arrive at the next USPS Location witch they will eventually meet another incompetent employee and most likely not be scanned. Now my hard work to be a top rated seller will be all for nothing and i will loose the highly ranked ebay status. It will take me about 6 months to get it back just like last time this happened reducing my sales down %20-30 Hiking my ebay fees up %20 my shipping fees up another %20. So in the long run across this soon to be six month span this will cost me over $10,000 give or take a $1,000. I will make note of this like i did last time and keep a record.

I grew up with My Father being a post master he was one for 15 years, and before that he was a carrier. I got to see how an efficiently run post office worked. Alas, though, this post office is only okay with only mail as in letters, or bills or cards. When it comes to packages, they are quite unprofessional and do not handle them well. I have had packages that have sat at the location and not delivered for days, and I had to talk to the post master about it, shortly after my packages would arrive. I have had packages that have been damaged, and they tell me to contact the seller. I have had packages that state they were out for delivery but yet were delivered at the postal location, and I did not receive a notice to come get it. So when it comes to packages, they are good at sending them out, but hardly good, when you have a package coming to you.
